We had an absolutely delicious meal on Saturday, May 13! The atmosphere in the lounge was fine, though a bit noisy at first. I ordered the turkey club with homemade chips. It was amazing, and enough to share! My husband ordered the cheeseburger with fries. It was too much for him so I had a couple of bites, it was so good (I couldn’t finish my sandwich). Brought the sandwich home to eat later, it was still good. Big portions and great service. Try it out, I think you’ll like it!

Although I arrived just about closing, Memo, the staff person, was great! Very attentive and didn’t rush me at all. He even let me stay a bit last closing. Great drinks and the food is very very good. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be sure to stop by!

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the Red Fish based on their recommendation. The description of the nachos made it difficult for me not to order and the presentation and taste did NOT disappoint my palate. The bathrooms were clean and fresh. I would definitely return and recommend the Allgauer’s Restaurant.

There’s NOTHING nice about this place. It’s an old hotel’s old restaurant/lounge. I’ve stayed here 5 times for work, and tried something different each time (breakfast and dinner) and have yet to find something that was worth paying hotel restaurant prices for. Last night? Mango Chipotle Glazed Meatloaf. Sounds yummy, right? Not. Even. Close! Turns out that glaze is some kind of coating that was applied by the factory that turned out what was truly an oval-shaped ‘loaf’ of processed meat that was simply warmed by the culinary artists that work the kitchen of Allgauer’s. After a couple of bites, I remembered there was supposed to be some flavor to whatever it was that I was eating, so I asked for some extra Mango Chipotle sauce, after returning from the kitchen empty-handed, my server informed me that there was no sauce, and that it was a cussing in the meat before it was ‘cooked’ – I told him there was zero flavor or spice in my meal. He simply walked away…
