I would 10/10 recommend this place! My family and I were extremely satisfied- everything was delicious! My husband really enjoyed their honey butter chicken biscuit- the food is locally sourced, the chicken was fried perfectly and very juicy, not to mention the biscuit was made from scratch! Great coffee & hot chocolate (my kids loved it)! If I were a local, you’d definitely catch me here every morning for breakfast. Absolutely no complaints. Great customer service, very attentive, polite, and friendly!!! Thank you for a great experience!

Small diner. Limited seating. Order the waffles. Food is good. I think they could toast and fry everything a touch more and it’d be perfect. Skip the latte and go for hot chocolate. Avoid the grits unless you prefer

Don’t sleep on this gem if you’re driving through Alma! My veggie omelet and potatoes were very tasty and plate presentation was superb. We arrived 14 people deep on a Friday morning and they did not disappoint. Food was slow to come out at first, but it was understandable considering our group size and only the chef and server/manager were working at that time. Our food was definitely worth the wait and we’re glad we came across it before our travels back home!

We stopped in at the Alma Diner for some much needed refueling after a long backpacking trip. We were not disappointed! The best breakfast we’ve had in a long time – the cowboy muffins and country fried steak were delicious! We tried the blueberry muffins to start and were obsessed! Quite possibly the best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had.

Wow, just WOW! What a gem! I can’t believe I have been driving past them for a year and only finally just stepped in (twice within a week). It’s a tiny beautiful place with everything fresh and made from scratch. Sweetest husband and wife team: Jimmy is the chef while Victoria does everything else. They were even kind and gracious enough to custom make gluten-free AND vegan biscuits for my poor allergic to everything husband. (Make sure you call ahead to ask if you need special requests, they get busy!) Loved everything we’ve tried so far (shrimp and grits special (please bring them back!) breakfast platter, donuts, parfait, biscuits biscuits biscuits). We’re already looking forward to trying other things on be the menu again tomorrow!

Diamond in the rough. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever eaten. Kind staff and quick service. Everything is fresh and made to order. Their donuts and apple butter were phenomenal.

Time To Wake Up
My wife, son, and I moved up to Park County back in August. We soon discovered the Alma Diner and have returned several times over the past 7-8 months. Each and every experience has been nothing short of delightful. Everything on their menu is delicious and fresh prepared from scratch. The country fried steak is out of this world, burgers are scrumptious, as are the Shrimp and Grits and Gumbo. Homemade biscuits and donuts (kids love em’) are perfectly done. Victoria is a wonderful host/server and Jimmy is a master of his craft in the kitchen who specializes in down home, comfort food, Southern cookin’. They are also both extremely kind, upbeat people. You won’t find a breakfast or lunch spot anywhere near that can hold a candle to these guys. Top notch, very clean as well. The prices are very fair and locals get a discount. Just go, you won’t regret it!

Since moving to Denver over ten years ago, I’ve found only a handful of places that can make good biscuits at altitude. This unassuming diner is the star of them all – Jimmy has a magic touch that renders these biscuits light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious (and gigantic too!). They’re a small place with a small staff, yet the food they turn out with limited equipment is a testament to their skills. Ingredients are locally sourced and lovingly prepared – it may take a little longer but it will be worth your wait (especially if you’re having the biscuits). We came back several times during our visit to Alma and plan on making this a regular stop in the future.

This place is gonna be another South Park gem! Went to Alma Diner yesterday with a friend because I was craving eggs! I ordered the breakfast platter and my friend ordered the breakfast burrito. The portions were perfect! My eggs were perfect (and im kinda picky). My friend wasn’t sure she could finish the burrito but it was so good she finished it! The cook and server were both very nice and accommodating. They even made me an extra gluten free English muffin because it was soooo good. They are also expanding their winter menu to include smoked brisket and tri-tip for lunch. Definitely will be going there again! Excited to see them grow and become a staple around here!

My wife and I had a lovely time here. The food was delicious; The eggs benedict is the best I’ve had. Our waitress gave us excellent service as well.
