I tried the brisket and it is perfect. The brisket is smoked just right. Also the mac and cheese is terrific. I have brisket from all over the states and here is at the top of the list. Service is awesome. You are treated like family here. Definitely, come here. I will try more on their menu.

The most delicious and satisfying dinner within driving distance of Snowshoe resort and its not particularly close! Came in with a crew of 6 friends after a day of skiing and were met with incredible hospitality and barbecue. The brisket was legit and the mac was perfect. The apple cobbler tasted smokey, which was odd if intentional, but overall an awesome experience. Definitely a must-try for any out of town visitor!

We had both breakfast and dinner here! It really is amazing! I have worked my way across Oklahoma, Arkansas and Alabama. All in which claim they have the best smoked meats. They have Nothing on this place! If the owner of this place offers you a piece of chicken don’t turn him down!! I did on Friday night and I really regret it. Have the Barber tell you the story.

Great meal! Had pulled pork and friend had ribs. Loved all the different sauces they had. The mango habanero sauce was my favorite. Outside seating was perfect for a day in May. Go check it out at the base of the mountain!

Decided to drive down the mountain to get away from the crowds at the Snowshoe village and try out the smokehouse we passed on our way in. We were not disappointed! The pulled pork was awesome and all the other meat looked legit! The bacon wrapped asparagus was amazing and I wish I had ordered more! On top of the food, the service was great! Everyone treated us like we were family visiting for the weekend. If you are at Snowshoe, avoid the long waits and expensive prices for dinner and take the short trip down to Almost Heaven!
