Aloha Cooking primarily serves Hawaiian cuisine and is located in downtown East Lansing, beside BAPS.

This place feels authentic. We had the Fried Spam Masubi: delicious! Husband ordered the Loco Moco and I ordered the tuna poke bowl: So yummy!

First time trying Hawaiian food in Lansing. We came when they just open so it wasn’t busy yet. Food was delicious, and good potion size. I actually liked the macaroni salad, it was not tok sweet. I would definitely recommend. Staff were great too.

Super unique spot with traditional big island cuisine. The food felt fresh and the atmosphere gave off some great tropical vibes. We ordered a decent selection from the menu to get a good feel for different things and didn’t regret anything! They have very reasonable prices

Amazing experience!! All the way down to the staff, we found excellence. We will for sure be back!! We started with the fried spam musubi and steamed manapua (pork buns). They were both super delish! The Musubi was like a deep fried sushi with spam. My husband had the loco moco with miso soup and the best kimchi I’ve ever had. I had the Kalua pig with Portuguese bean soup and lemon ginger salad. We finished with the mini malasadas (coconut doughnuts). Incredible!! We can’t wait to come back and try more off their menu!!

So good! My faves are the deluxe poke, chili chicken, garlic butter shrimp, and the bbq plates. I’m always here during a lunch or dinner rush (just my luck), but service has been friendly and the food never takes too long to come out. Great prices, big portions, and excellent food.

Delicious Hawaiian dish, Kailua Pig. A great change of pace. Next time I’ll ask for extra sauce! Decent prices and didn’t leave hungry.

SO good! I can’t wait to be back. I don’t know how authentic it is but it was delicious. For fellow vegetarians– the tofu/eggplant entree was delicious!

The place always seems dead but they have good poke bowl so I always get it here. This will be my last time since the portion gets smaller and smaller each time. And this time around the host was in the bathroom so she couldn’t seat us. We had to seat ourselves. I wouldn’t get annoyed if the cook or whoever that guy was from the kitchen would have told us to take a seat instead of just letting us stand there and walking back and forth. The Asian guy who also works there sat at the last table but his eyes were glued to his phone and didn’t even say anything to us about taking a seat either. I know it’s not their job but if the host went to the bathroom for a good 5-10 minutes someone needs to cover for her. It’s team work! It’s not a big or busy restaurant so they need to do better. We will not be coming back to this place.

Came in for dinner and had the salmon poke bowl which was delicious and big enough I had leftovers. My server Angie was fantastic. Will definitely be returning.
