I know this is a spot that people usually stop by when they’re drunk. Being said, this was still an awful meal. I’m 90% sure the lamb they gave me had gone bad, never seen a Gyro that was literally just the meat and raw unions, the servicers were mainly neutral in terms of service, and the side salad was literally just ice Berg lettuce and tomatoes. All that and some fries for only 19 bucks.

I had high hopes for the famous New Haven style pizza. This pizza is Chuck-E-Cheese level bad. It was lame and the salad I got was also lame. Not nearly worth $16. Try someplace else.

My first time ordering here and it was disgusting. How is cheese pizza soggy?? Also ordered a garlic, broccoli and pepperoni stuffed bread and I got garlic bread with broccoli and pepperoni. I don’t know what type of people work there but I also work at a pizza restaurant and you just need new employees that actually care about their job and don’t rush. I will never order food from here again they can’t get a simple order correct.

Food order was taken care of relatively quickly. The food while not Michelin grade was still better than most. Hits the spot when you need something to soak up all that alcohol after a good night out. Pizza very fresh and flavorful and their fries is actually pretty good.

I know New Haven is famous for having the best pizza. Pepe’s, Sally’s, and Modern are unbelievably great. But when it comes to a plain cheese pizza, Alpha Delta is completely overlooked. For my money it is best in the Elm City.
