July 2023 – I met up with some friends from out of state. Never been to Michigan and wanted to take them to a good restaurant as they were staying in Jackson. I thought the reviews were good so why not try the place. They were busy for breakfast, but not that bad on a Saturday that you had to wait. The staff was very kind.

Update 8/10/23. So good yesterday we came back. Today I had a larger breakfast for lunch. 2 pancakes, 3 eggs over easy, 2 toast, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, ham steak. Was great again!

We ended up here when Leo’s lost power and are grateful we visited! The food and service were fantastic, we kept joking “how did we not know this was here?!?”. Orders ranged from breakfast to dinner items and everything was great. The kids were so good (and loved the live aquarium video feed on a TV) we ordered dessert which no surprise was also fantastic. Looking forward to returning!

Don’t get me wrong, the service was good and the ambience was quiet and peaceful. That being said, we’re talking about food here. When it comes to food this place just does not cut it. The eggs? Weak. The toast? Weak. Heck, let’s combine the two. We ordered French toast and that was Hercules on opposite day. Weaaaaak.

Eaten here quite a bit beings we’ve been admitted in Mott Children’s hospital off and on since August. Service is always fast and wait staff is phenomenal, the decorating and monitors on the wall make it a pretty cozy little place. It’s also very affordable. Have never had any issues with food or accuracy of our orders. They are almost always spot on with everything. Also very quick service most days.

We stopped here after our Eid prayer to have a brunch the food was yummy and really good , the staff were friendly. Time of service was ok .. my only intake was is if the will add halal meat ( like turkey bacon or beef and the sausage as well unfortunately it was only pork products)

Simple coney joint with plenty of diner options. The pancakes had lots of soot from a dirty grill and they spilled a coke all over the table and never cleaned it up or brought us napkins, I got them myself after 10 min. They werent busy, our waitress took a table during her lunch break. But it isn’t a 5 star expectation so it is what it is, 4 stars greasy spoon.

Our go to Koney Island Restaurant. Food, service facility are all fantastic. We enjoy eating in but also use Toast to place our to-go orders at no added cost. we like to tip at the counter when we pick-up our delicious food.
