I just ate a slice of pizza at Al’s Best and I have to share that it was one the most favorable Buffalo Chicken topped slices which I have ever eaten. The crust was crispy and the pie was thick with tomato sauce, cheese and Buffulo chicken meat. I picked the slice from the display cabinet and they reheated it. The chicken meat was very moist. I was more than satisfied with size of the slice. I took home a slice of BBQ chicken & bacon, yum!

Ordered a large pizza. The girl repeated my order back to me yet when I got it home it was totally wrong! So instead of offering me a free large pizza next time I order, they say they will give me a free medium pizza because they only got half the pizza order wrong! Seriously ? What kind of customer service is that? I ordered a large pizza that you made incorrectly and you’re only going to offer me a medium pizza? Yea ok! I will never go back to this unfriendly and cheap restaurant ! You can keep you free medium pizza Al!

Overall very good!! The sandwiches were closer to five stars and the pizza was closer to four stars. Very clean and the folks behind the counter are very nice – super service! Very clean! Value-wise, comparable, not expensive. We have ordered from there twice and will definitely order again!

Al’s is my go-to pizza place in town. The food is always great and the owner is friendly and welcoming. It gets busy with take-out on Friday evenings, so your best bet is to order on the earlier side for less of a wait.

Closest thing I can find to a good NYC slice in the area! Good (and foldable) crust, tasty sauce and friendly service. Just make sure you say “not too hot” when you order a slice otherwise you’ll burn your mouth on the cheese. They serve them VERY hot. The sausage and pepper slice is my favorite.
