I recently visited Al’s Grill on Warren in Dearborn and was blown away by the quality and taste of their subs! Not only are they amazing, but they’re also the cheapest prices around. The restaurant’s commitment to creating delicious food is truly breathless, and it’s no surprise that it’s become a local favorite. If you’re looking for a spot to grab a tasty and affordable sub, Al’s Grill on Warren is definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend it!

First time ordering and the last. They were not friendly. The only thing good was the cheese sticks but they only gave me 5 instead of 6 like it’s supposed to be. And for paying $5 for for them I feel ripped off. Also ordered the Philly steak sub with extra Mayo but there wasn’t extra Mayo and the lettuce tasted old. I also got what they call Oreo cheesecake but it did not taste like cheesecake at all and the Oreo wasn’t Oreo, just chocolate pieces of cake in the middle and a layer of chocolate cake on the bottom.

Second time coming and my food was hot and absolutely delicious. I don’t know who keeps giving them 1 star ratings, i assume it’s because of a negative experience due to training new staff. But it’s some of the best quick eats around if you get an experienced cook

First off, service was kind, genuine, and helpful. Had a very pleasant experience dining here at 1 am after our long flight coming into Detroit. Food was great especially the toum (garlic sauce) make sure to get this sauce in the side no matter what u get. The menu has a lot of options so there is something for everyone and prices are amazing.

I understand everything went up. But here prices went up and quality dropped service down and size got even smaller. I ordered a sub combo from my shawarma’s around the corners for $13 got to the car drove off and kids asked for fries so I ordered from Al’s grill and I get a large fries. Cost $7.50. Ok no problem. the box is literally in a hot dog to go box. I was shocked I called to confirm is that the correct size and he said yes. I asked how is the small size and he hung up on me.

I’ve always seen them on DoorDash and finally took a chance. Loved my shawarma! Loved the staff. They actually engaged more than just taking the order. There was customer service. The food was freshly made and tasty. I’ll definitely be back! Oh and they had convenient hours too.

It’s kind of a small restaurant. We ordered a tawook plate with hummus which was really good with toom sauce. The meat shawarma markook was very good. Other stuff was ok. The mango passion and mango banana smoothies were not so good. Would rather have had soda. The service was really good. If I lived here, I would go again.
