Al’s came recommended by the hotel staff at the place we stayed during our summer vaca. Got a To go order. Pizza (pepperoni and gluten-free margarita pizza) both good. Calamari not so much…very soggy due to too much sauce. Was not impressed. So pizza…recommend. calamari…pass.

My family and I came in Saturday afternoon for lunch. It wasn’t very busy, and service was great. I ordered the lunch portion chicken parmesan, and my husband ordered the chicken alfredo. My chicken parm was good and a good size portion for lunch. My husband felt his Alfredo was average and portion smaller than mine. My son enjoyed his slice of pepperoni and the pretzel appetizer which was more like garlic parmesan bread.

Ordered gluten free pizza. While we were told they did gluten free, as I have celiac disease, only the crust of the pizza was gluten free before preparation. The handling of, baking and boxing was all done without gluten free care. The cook responded with an angry tone when we told him it was no longer gluten free after watching his entire preparation and cooking process. On behalf of celiac people please don’t claim to be gluten free when you are not.

I Ran into trouble using the app(kept coming up out of delivery zone). Called up to the store and spoke with Bailey who ran my address and noticed i was 1 street away from the delivery zone. He ensured me it would be ok and helped me with the rest of my order. Little did he know it was about to be my moms first time ever eating at als (would’ve taken her there myself but with Corona going on we played it safe) she went with the sweet n sour Hawaiian and i choose the Florentino chicken. These white pies were both delicious!! It just goes to show that humanity wins yet again!! HUZZAhH!! Thank you team Bailey and Sean @AlsPizza!

We’ve been customers of the San Pablo location for almost 20 years and while the quality has recently slipped quite a bit, tonight’s was the worst. Our $30 BLT pizza was completely cold (not the end of the world) but was basically without bacon, lettuce, or tomatoes. A bunch of mayo on some cold dough with a few ingredients on top. Just terrible, and it will be a while before we order again.

SOOOO GOOOOOD!!!! My favorite pizza shop at the beaches! Great environment for the whole family and the staff are super kind. We had a large group (12 people) and they were super accommodating. Bridget moved the tables around so that we could all fit together and didn’t have to separate which was so nice! Bridget was a great hostess as well – very polite, attentive to our group, and explained the menu items to us. Food was served quickly. Could definitely taste the freshness of the food and the portions were generous. Be sure to save room for desert because it is AMAZING!! Jim was our other waiter and he was super great as well – friendly, personable, and attentive to our needs. We could really tell the staff enjoyed their work. The facility was clean, the staff were so kind, and the food was awesome! Al’s is open later than most other local shops which is great. We had an overwhelming positive experience and looking forward to coming again soon. 5 stars for excellent customer service, cleanliness, and great food!
