Don’t pass this up! After being on the road for 7 days, we were so tired of fast food. This was the first exit with food in a while, and the options were McD’s or Al’s. I’m so happy we stopped here! I wouldn’t typically stop at a restaurant attached to a gas station, but this is completely its own entity. It’s a clean store with its own restrooms for customers, a casual atmosphere, the food was delicious (we had the meat lover’s pizza), high chairs are available and there’s a changing table in the women’s restroom. Service was kind and quick. This is the perfect place to grab a bite and recharge on a trip.

We had a great experience at Al’s! Our server was very attentive. Food was good too. Nice place (good atmosphere) if you’re in the area you should check it out! We were passing through from Michigan on our way to North Carolina. I believe we’d come back on our way home. Thanks for taking good care of us 🙂

The pizza here was amazing! We were taken great care of by a young lady who’s name I didn’t catch, but she was waiting on all the tables, working the door and answering the phones. She was super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a hidden gem we were glad to find!

Stopped in here after I saw their sign on the interstate. I wanted real food and not just fast food. That’s exactly what I got too. I had the crab ravioli. It was excellent! The garlic bread tasted to be home made and their Italian dressing is home made and is also excellent. So glad I stopped.

Don’t get lost, its right next to the BP gas station. GREAT place to pull over if you’re hungry and tired. I got the fried chicken sandwich, which was Delicious. My son really enjoyed the crab ravioli, our friend loved his gyro, and my husband had an enormous burger, it’s actually quite humorous when they bring it out — the waitress did warn us beforehand. It all tasted freshly made, it was well cooked, and very reasonably priced, I thought. Terrific place to stop!

The services is so great! I really love their employees! Very sweet . But unfortunately the (owner/manager ) not so much. I had placed an order last night while I was at work so my family could eat. Had a nice tip and paid over $75 for a meal. I order personally order a Ruben (didn’t look at the menu) because I was on the clock so I called in and placed the order . When the Ruben came as a sub and not a sandwich. Sadly I work doubles shifts and I had placed this order around 9pm that night and could not call about the sandwich. Mind you i work 16 hr shifts(nurse) I had just got off work around 4pm today and I brought the sandwich. I asked if I could have a replacement or a credit . And they said no. Now I had the same experience before a few years ago. I’ve been living out here for about 5 years now and I try and try. im Not sure why there was no compassion or compromise with them. And I have gone through this one time before but I just wanted to give it another try. (Last time my food was just late on arrival) with them and the gas station connected . And I believe it’s more than that. But I will not say that because I hope it isn’t that. (If you catch my drift) but I love the atmosphere and wholesome employees that they have hired. Very great . They are very charming. But for a sandwich . And I to am a hard working person just like they are . I had hope for a better results but I do understand things don’t always go as plan. I hope they see this and with the next person that has a similar issue they could resolve it for them . For me you already know what I am going to say . I will never come go over there again. Including the gas station. I wish more success but more compassion because I wasn’t asking for to much and I knew I had to pay a difference if I ordered more. Which I was going to order 2 pizzas.

Really close to the interstate, worth the stop. You can call ahead if you are in a hurry. I called in when I was about 10 miles out and they had my order ready when I arrived. If you like lots of Old Bay, then you will love the Old Bay french fries.
