Went here with no reservation. Luckily, we got there before the rush and were able to get a table. Beautiful place. Atmosphere was nice. Service was prompt. I had a bourbon bramble to drink, which was good. The wife and I shared the salmon tacos for an appetizer. They were good but I think a little over priced. My wife had the southwest chicken salad. It was visually appealing and looked very well proportionate with the ingredients. My wife said the flavor was good, the dressing had a slight bit of heat. (Expected with a southwest chicken). She did comment that it could have used a bit more lettuce. I had the Altana burger with fries. The fries were curly fries. Seasoned and cooked nicely. The burger looked delicious, however the balsamic caramelized onions were way too sweet. To the point where I couldn’t eat any more of it. Chocolate creme brulee for dessert was tasty. It wasn’t overly sweet. Probably should have passed on that because of the sweetness of the burger but I do love me some dessert. I would eat here again but definitely wouldn’t get the burger.

We ate in the front dining room, which had a nice atmosphere. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, but service was painfully slow. It wasn’t overly crowded and our food took so long to come out, we almost left. There were only two of us so we weren’t waiting for an entire party. When our main courses finally came out, they were hot and good, but nothing special, or super flavorful. Felt a bit overpriced for what it was.

Took my wife on Valentine’s Day. First impression was wow! The restaurant is beautiful. Nice ambiance with light jazz softly playing in the background. The main dining room is on the 2nd floor of the building and there was a rooftop lounge, which was closed for dining, but open for viewing the city (I’m guessing it’s seasonal). Nice views of the square, the Marriott tower, the Trinity Lutheran Steeple. We didn’t expect it to be too busy as we made reservations for 4:45pm. When we arrived there was only a small party of Galentine ladies and a few couples. We ordered our food before 5:00pm and at 5:00 it started to fill up. Our appetizer came out about 20 minutes after we ordered. However, we noticed that some couples that came after us had already received their food before we got our appetizer (pretzel bites which were very dark, luke warm and dry). The portion was very small, so we asked for more rolls. The rolls were good, but lukewarm. At 6:00 we noticed that the galentines girls and a few of the couples that were there before us still hadn’t had their food, so we weren’t too hopeful. I waved our waiter over and asked what was going on. He said that there was an issue with the ticket machine and that the tickets weren’t coming out for 40 minutes and then they all came out at one time. He never thought to share that there was a delay… I noticed that most of the food that was coming out was the burger and fries (you’d think it wouldn’t take that long to cook a burger and drop some fries). About an hour and a half after we arrived we finally received our food ( I also ordered the burger and my wife ordered the Chilean sea bass), and my umami fries were luke warm and overcooked. They did bring out a nice big bowl of fresh (overcooked) fries to “make it right”. The burger was pretty good. Both meals were on the “large plate” section of the menu, but the plate was the only thing that was large. My wife did enjoy her meal. After filling up on bread, we opted not to have dessert (even tho the espresso cheesecake was calling my name). The gentleman next to us was very upset about his experience and declared that, though he had dined at the restaurant before, he would never return after this experience. The waiter apologized and said that all the kitchen staff were new. The prices weren’t terrible and the restaurant has potential. Giving the benefit of the doubt, the combination of ticket issues, new staff and a busy holiday probably made it a less than great first impression. We are open to coming back maybe over the summer when the rooftop lounge is open and give it another go.

We love trying new flavors and different styles of restaurants. Was not disappointed, it was amazing, This restaurant is hidden on the third floor of a downtown building. CHILEAN SEABASS Delicious fish and lobster sauce, lots of fresh veggies and seems to have a few salami garnishes. IBERICO PORK TENDERLOIN’s meat is tender, and their sauces are very different. Even the salad dressing I can’t stop, really delicious. The waiters Dylan and Mariah were very friendly and attentive. We will be back.

Would not return for dinner but great place for drinks at bar. (Staff has always been great!)Lobster mac and cheese $32 and was really just mac and cheese. I would suggest taking this dish off the menu or renaming it as mac and cheese and pricing it appropriately as such-or reducing the portion and serving it as a small plate and actually putting some nice pieces of lobster in it. If it can’t be both a profitable dish for the restaurant and a good meal at a fair price for the customer, please just don’t serve it.

1. VERY Overpriced for the food/portions that they serve. 2. Ordered Calamari and it seemed uncooked, gooey and hard to look at and say it was appetizing. 3. The Lobster mac n cheese lacked so much flavor, You’d be better off eating it anywhere else. 4. The waitress couldn’t answer any of my questions about the food/drinks she had to keep going back to ask someone else. The atmosphere in the place is amazing, so elegant but the food and the pricing on it is absolutely insane considering we couldnt finish either one of our meals because of the lack of flavor, Fancy Cafeteria Food

We made dinner reservations based on the menu and photos of the interior from the restaurant’s website. When we arrived, we were told it was only outside rooftop dining in 90 degree heat with no fans or umbrellas for shade. The menu was an odd conglomeration of food items that were totally different than what was advertised. We left immediately and we were happily accommodated at Shot & Bottle, where we had an excellent meal and delicious drinks.

Atmosphere and staff were great! Drinks were also delicious. However, my fiancé ordered a medium steak and it came out very well done. He sent it back (first he’s ever sent anything back because we’re usually a couple that doesn’t mind if it’s pretty close to what we ordered lol) and it came out very well done again. He was hungry so of course he just decided to eat it at that point. As a couple that has worked in the restaurant industry for many years, the meal or even a drink or two would’ve been taken off the bill. Food and price is not worth it.
