We stopped for dinner at Altavilla as it was recommended by an Italian restaurant owner. What a hidden gem of a restaurant in Naples! We ordered two different dinner specials and were treated to fresh, flavorful, memorable meals in the homemade burrata cheese salad and prosciutto stuffed veal in porcini cream sauce. Service was excellent as Jeannine attentively offered menu descriptions and assistance, paced the arrival of courses, and offered genuine hospitality. The dessert selection mimicked the fresh, homemade, attentive to detail quality of the entrees. Very much look forward to our next dining experience at Altavilla.

Great place for a quick bite and they also have pizza by the slice. It’s a nice big piece bigger then your head. Staff was very nice and polite. Place could of been cleaner but that didn’t bother me. Just saying. Over all pizza was good. I’d give it a 7. I’ll be back again not to many place do pizza by the slice. Oh did mention the 30” PIZZAAAAA It’s huge!!!!

Best pizza in Naples. My husband and I just moved here recently and tried a few other places around that were honestly horrible… I’m gonna admit our standards are pretty high for Italian food because we are Italian and we hail from NY/NJ pizza capital of the country. This pizza competes with the best pizzeria in our old neighborhood back home. We will only be ordering pizza from Altavilla going forward.

First, ask about their 30 inch pizza. The best dough I’ve had in Naples. Whenever I have that pizza craving I always find myself going here. Garlic knots are also amazing. When you compare their prices to the big name pizza places they are much cheaper. It’s not the biggest pizza place ever but the flavors are enormous. Big fan.

I have enjoyed this Resturant for a long time. However, recently a friend told me she went to dinner with her family of 8 and had a terrible experience. Normally everyone except the young kids who want a pizza and all the adults order entries. Well this time the untrained waitress said no pizza at all in the dinning room. Sounds like a waitress who does not understand customer service, so on their behalf I have to give Alta only one star for not rectifying this matter and turning off these people who now will not return. Train that waitress or let her go.
