The service here is incomparable provided by Melia. Tina, the manager made sure that everything was in order. I stopped by on taco Tuesdays and had a nice assortment of pork steak, chicken and shrimp tacos at only two dollars each during happy hour. I had a long day of driving behind me so I wasn’t drinking. I just had a diet Dr Pepper that would love to have a mixed drink and a glass of wine next time. I highly recommend this relaxing venue with five star service. Mahalo Melia

This was an absolute phenomenal experience at Altitude. We visited on a Friday night for my girlfriends birthday. From start to finish it was one of her best birthday dinner experiences. Her ribeye was cooked perfect and was a great cut of meat. The prime rib was of the highest quality. Our server, Bre was extremely attentive and festive with us, knowing it was a birthday visit. Her and Kate even surprised my girlfriend with a birthday song and desert. The food was so enjoyable that I had to ask the cooks name, shout out to Manny. Well done. Overall this was one of our best restaurant experiences, kicked off vacation the right way.

Service started out great. Then when we received our order, everything pretty much went down hill. My $38 Lemon Garlic Herb Halibut was over cooked and extremely dry. The $24 Halibut Fish & Chips was over cooked and dry. Then my husband’s $45 8oz. Ribeye steak was extremely over cooked. He ordered medium rare and received the first steak in the picture. It was so over cooked. Then he told the waitress and she said “ok I will have to check and get back with you.” He waited for another 20 minutes before we had to ask what they were planning to do about the steak. They finally brought out the second steak, shown in second picture. Still over cooked and extremely under seasoned. Their menu describes the steak as a “8ozRibeyeSteak Seasoned Prime Cut Ribeye cooked to order topped with caramelized onions” there was no seasoning and no caramelized onions and definitely not to order. The other 2 entries the $14 BBQ short ribs and $7 kid’s chicken tender was barely decent. The only thing almost decent was the chicken wings appetizer. We had to wait almost another thirty minutes to get the check. My husband ended up having to go up to the bar and for the check. Our check was $157 plus $24 tip. The restaurant is understaff with one person running the bar and table. One person (the manager) as the host, waitress, and only person in charge of ringing up the orders and collecting the money. And one person busing the tables and refilling the water. I usually do not write up reviews but a dinner that cost that much and ended up over 2 hours, which 1 hour was wasted just waiting around is just ridiculous.

This is what every hotel/resort bar and restaurant should look like. Great service, (Trevor is the man!) excellent food, super kid friendly, and delicious food. Also right next to the pool and a short walk from just about any room in the resort.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the resort over the weekend, had lunch at the restaurant and it was awesome! Jeremiah was our waiter and service was fantastic! He was very attentive and checked on us frequently while we were there. Definitely would recommend stopping by!

Michelle in the bar is awesome! Makes THE BEST margaritas and huckleberry lemon drops. Ask her about it, you won’t be disappointed! Wings and parm chicken are also delicious! 10/10

I haven’t had such poor quality dinner in many years. The “8 oz ribeye” – ordered rare – was a terribly overcooked round steak. The “fried chicken” was freezer style you’d give your toddler. The baked potatoes (both) weren’t even fully cooked. They didn’t even get the drinks right! The Long Island’s didn’t have a coke splash, the Moscow Mule was served in a tall glass, and we had to go get my dad’s sugar for his tea because it was never brought to us after being requested. These aren’t all the issues, I’m just tired of typing it all out. It was Ridiculous! My partner and I drove 1.2 hours to eat dinner there… we will Never eat there again and we will be sure to warn others that tell us they’re headed to the mountain.

My wife and I visited Mt Hood resort as a birthday celebration that happened to coincide with the 2023 new year. Made reservations at their restaurant Altitude for NYE. We were offered a “special prefixed menu” and served stringy prime rib, over cooked Broccoli, jumbo shrimp that were cooked frozen and tasted of freezer burn as well as some very basic appetizers. So let’s just say the food served was not worth the $50 per head. The very young staff was inexperienced as you’d expect but the lack of any management in either the restaurant or hotel says to me that good help must be very hard to find these days.
