Amaize, Inc. was founded in August 2016, initially operating as a catering company for local businesses and tour operators as well as volunteering at private and community events. In 2019, Amaize, Inc. expanded and opened up a street cafe right outside their location at the Historic Ueoka Store building. They also launched the “Food E Express Delivery” to patrons in Hanapepe town, Hanapepe Heights, Port Allen, and Eleele.

Marcy is very friendly and an amazing chef! Her food is fresh and yummy My husband had the chicken tacos and I enjoyed the vegan veggie tacos. The best I’ve had! We also tried her fresh juice drink and chips and salsa. Go here for the freshest Mexican food on the island!

It’s crazy how good their chips and salsa are! I was ready to buy jars of it to bring back home with me. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and Marci’s authentic recipes were out of this world! . We had the steak tacos and shrimp tacos and they were some of the best I’ve had in a loon time. Definitely recommend for some good, fresh Mexican fare. Treat yourself and stop by for a great meal!

If you ever go to this place, order the nachos!! We stopped for an afternoon snack and those nachos came out as a meal! We put shredded beef on one order and shredded chicken on the other, and let me tell you the owner did not disappoint. We were wondering what was taking so long, but they were totally worth the wait.

Ordered our food. Originally I wanted to order a chicken chimichanga but was told it would take 20 minutes, so changed to 2 chicken tacos, my husband ordered 2 beef tacos. There was a couple and a trio in front of us. After over 1/2 hour later, I asked how much longer it would be and was told the cook hadn’t even started ours yet. The trio still had not been served so I asked for my money and tip back and we left. Extremely overpriced food. I heard one guy complain to the waitress, while we were waiting, that the fish on his taco was too dry. Do not recommend.

Best burrito ever. Everything was made from scratch. So yummy! My wife and friends had fajitas and nachos and those were also amazing, nothing leftover. If you come, plan to be here a while as they are low staffed. Only had 2 people working when we went so it took a while for food to come out but it was well worth the wait. I’ll be here every time I’m on the island. Amazing.

Live music Friday nights and Sunday brunch. Super local neighborhood spot with the nicest and most down to earth staff ever. Eat outside on folding tables. We had huevos rancheros brunch and it was ono! In sleepy Hanapepe town, authentic and lovely.
