My Husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time on Valentine’s Day. I completely understand that they were busier than usual but we waited an hour and a half for our food to be delivered to our table after our waitress told us three times that our food was coming. A table near us that came in 25 minutes after we did, got served about 30 minutes before we did. The waitress also did not refill our drinks and once we had our food, we did not have a drink to wash down the hot food. The food was very good but the service was terrible.

I am not much of a cook, so me & the family eat out a lot! Amalfi’s is close by & it’s priced right! I can tell that they got their old chef back & I am very thankful! I would strongly suggest if you had a bad experience at anytime things are “MUCH BETTER NOW”!! I would love to see them feature their famous Prime Rib more! I love to go every Sat night & hear Thomas Jones Jazz Guitarist from 7-9. He sets the mood for an amazing evening!! Thanks to the Owner Pat & his amazing staff as we always are treated like family.

Worst pizza ever…. For more than $20.00, one would expect to get a pizza with some decent sauce and toppings. Not so here. We had ordered a MEDIUM Mediterranean. It virtually had no sauce, had WAY too much olive juice (we actually gagged on it) and hardly any pepperoncini’s. It did not taste good AT ALL. Over all, just a gross pizza. Oh, and by the way, we ordered this after being told they were out of wings. I don’t think a restaurant should EVER be out of a menu item. We won’t be going back.

The pasta fazul was bland and was sent back…..the calzone was too much bread not enough filling… the antipasto was this gargantuan pile of cut, not torn, lettuce…the lighting was SO dim that everyone used their flashlight apps…the cocktail sauce was of an odd consistency that would not adhere to the tasty little shrimp…presentation was poor across the board. Prices are a bit too high for a place that seems to be putting on airs…staff was VERY good though…I hope other diners have better luck…

Never had a bad meal there, my kids love the lasagna, I order chicken piccata, husband orders chicken marsala. The soup is spectacular. Nothing to complain about. We always have big parties there for birthdays!!!

Adding an edit for my original review. After bringing my service dog the manager demanded that i show papers for my service dog which is illegal. Food, atmosphere and service are still great but I’m pissed and going to contact my lawyer.

A business associate and I dined at Amalfi’s. The atmosphere was lovely, and the veal chop with roasted vegetables I had was remarkably delicious! This isn’t the first time I’ve had an outstanding meal at Amalfi’s, and it won’t be the last!

The owner does not like people. Take-out service is sub-par. Drink prices and some of the menu are grossly overpriced. Would give the place one star, except the stromboli, calzones and pizza are fantastic.

Not impressive. Food not hot, orders messed up. Service , meh…prices a little high for what they offer. Nice setting near the lake. Would only go back for the bar if even that.

Severe management problems. Food is good but the service is horrible. Wait an hour for service… Just real bad experience each time I have vern here. I think the owners have no restaurant experience and no idea how to run things. Long wait. Poor service. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
