Friendly staff and really great Indian food. I would say we managed to try quite a bit of the menu. And all of it was extremely delicious! It’s nice to have simple and good Indian food again 🙂

Ordered chole bhatura. This is one very common Indian Disha that I think non one can go wrong with. I have never seen a bhatura cut into four pieces and fried in very old oil.Now the chickpea curry was basically canned chickpeas sauteed in some kind of tomato puree. No whole spices, onion, or any kind of flavor. Seriously the worst food I have had that I can remember. The chef needs to learn a lot about Indian food and I hope they do.

Just tried this place again after some time. It was so so before but this time every single dish was delicious! Possibly my new favorite Indian place in the Des Moines area.

Just happened to find this place after filling up with gas at the nearby Kum & Go. Their lunch buffet was going on when I ate. Good selection of items. The place was packed, but they kept up with the rush. Had no idea what I was eating, but enjoyed each dish. Definitely recommend this place.

Usually we’ve had a good experience here but we just ordered 3 curries we typically get and none of them were edible. Very disappointed as we are usually very pleased. $50 down the drain. Now to find something else for dinner. 2 stars because the naan was on point as usual.

At times like this I wish we had the option of half stars. The restaurant was essentially empty when we arrived, so figured food wouldn’t take terribly long. This wasn’t the case. While the dine in part of the restaurant wasn’t busy, the kitchen was as many delivery services and to go orders came and went while we waited. Having never been here before, and thus having no real frame of reference, one couldn’t help but wonder if the to go orders were carrying a higher level of priority. Eventually the hostess did come and apologize for the long wait with a couple of vegetarian samosas; which were delicious and took the edge off.

Food was good; atmosphere, not so much. Had never been, but was recommended by a friend who is from India so trusted judgement. Was glad for the buffet so that we could try several items.

Wonderful atmosphere and really good food. I had a variety of things and it was all good. Keep in mind, it is Indian spicy so there is no such thing as truly mild. The service was a little slow, so I had to take off a star but the server was quick to right any issues. Could be faster with serving water.

This place needs work. I’ve been to this place only twice but would never return again. Very disappointing and the food is not fresh at all. The food is lukewarm or cold and limited buffet selection. A lot of the trays were half empty or almost depleted. I thought they were going to refill the food, but the guy just goes over and shakes up the tray. I went during lunch hour (around 11:30 am) too! The restaurant is cozy atmosphere with ambient lighting. Their sauce is good and that’s about all I can compliment on. Upon checking out, the man asked “do you have cash” as if he wants cash only, although credit card was sure accepted. He asked again for the second time. We were confused and had our card in hand, but decided to pay cash and left. Will not return.
