The main guy there (I think the manager) is great! I’ve been going to the place since before he started and since then (like 5-6 years of time later) every sandwich is fresh, neat and his attitude is always positive. I never leave reviews but this guy deserves credit. Cannot be easy.

For quick food it’s pretty good. The staff can be heard complaining and cursing while waiting for food. Thankfully I didn’t have to pay extra for the layer of F*s or god d@mn!ts that my sammich endured.

The cook was really rude to me when I asked for fresh cheesy bread. He told me to take the old stuff off the warmers if I wanted some. I probably won’t order food from here again.

I heard about this from a few of my friends and stopped by. Honestly one of the best sandwiches I have had in a looong time.

Pretty disappointed. I LOVE Amato’s… just not this one.. Called in an order of meat Stuffers, asked for them to be well done, and they aren’t even fully cooked. You can tell just by looking at them, they aren’t done, and the middle is near totally uncooked.

I like the variety. Not really sure I understand how to order. I love that they had lobster rolls or $14.99. I actually didn’t eat here I just stopped in but they always have good looking pizzas, sandwiches salads desserts.

4/5/2022… I had made an original order with a BBQ 9″ pizza and an order of waffle fries… They were out of waffle fries at that time (which was fine) so I had to resubmit my order… I had accidentally ordered a buffalo 9″ on the second go… I unfortunately didn’t notice until I had already gotten the pizza and took a bite… The gentleman working remade the correct pizza no questions asked… 5 Stars!!!

I’m so happy to have found this place! Amato’s is sneakily located inside the Maplefields gas station, which is why I never knew it existed. But now that the discovery has been made, we’ll definitely order meals from here on a regular basis. One thing I really loved: You place your order on a computer; this allows you to be in FULL control of every option, whether it’s what kind of cheese or bread you want, if you want salt, pepper, mayo, oil, etc., each & every topping, including different types of peppers and olives. It’s extremely impressive & really allows you to customize everything to your exact taste. The prices are about $2 cheaper than the local competition, which is always a bonus!!! And lastly, the people — even though there was minimal interaction with them (since it’s strictly a counter service establishment and you order from the computer), we opted to eat inside Maplefields where there’s about 5 tables located at the other side of the store. The employees from Amato’s brought our lunch over to our table & I had placed a separate order to take home for my husband….they delivered that to me as well & both employees were simply incredibly sweet. I really fell in love with the whole experience & I’m eager to try many more menu items from Amato’s! [A special THANK YOU to those 2 employees working on 3/3/2021 @12pm! You guys were awesome!]

Stopped in quick to use the facilities, and after we looked around to see what they had to offer. Lots of items to choose from besides your normal convenience store items. They make fresh hot and cold sandwiches, wraps and subs (grinders, heros, or whatever you want to call them) they even carried fresh lobster rolls. They seemed a little pricey for some of the sandwiches they offered but it all looked good. Clean store, plenty of parking and right off the interstate

Tried the sausage onion and pepper calzone. It was hot and freshly made to order, but it seemed like the onions and peppers didn’t get cooked enough. So the flavors were not very well balanced with almost raw onion flavor overpowering the whole thing. Not sure if it was a one-off cooking issue or that is just the way it is. Perhaps others like their vegetables in a calzone like that, but wasn’t for me.
