I ordered the mini Sicilian plain, I added nothing, no salt, pepper, garlic powder etc. I wanted to taste what they served. In attempt to keep this short I’ll just say imho it had the perfect amount of seasoning, excellent taste and flavor from the cheese to the crispy but fluffy inside crust. Absolutely worth the wait. Wow!!!! Run, do not walk to this small little yellow place with a 1 man pizza making master!! Please place order to guarantee your pick up time! We did the mini square which was amazing and we will definitely go back. His mom was working the phones/front counter and we had lovely conversation while I waited. Can’t wait to go back and wish them all the best for continued success!!

A lot of hype for Amato’s, with good reason. Amato’s opens up later in the day so if you’re wanting it for a timely dinner, either place an order online the day before, or roll the dice calling in! Increase your odds of prompt pizza by showing up in person. The pizza was a little thicker than a New York slice, the sauce was tasty and cheese perfect. We also got the pepperoni rolls. Both the 16″ pizzas and 2 pepperoni rolls were completely devoured in no time. First time getting Amato’s, and now a new favorite pizza in Bethany. If you want to try it, plan ahead by ordering the day before or get there in person then they open.

The pizza was ready early when we arrived but that5 is where the good stopped! The pizza was barely edible with so much salt it seemed like the cook dumped an entire bottle of salt then tried to wipe it off. It was very disappointing because we were very hungry after driving 3 hrs home from work. The worst pizza we have had in years!

I have never ever received such amazing service in my life than at Amato’s. The owner was so incredibly friendly and helpful and the pizza is absolutely out of this world. So far I’ve tried the Sicilian and the plain pie and it is light years ahead of any other pizza in Delaware. If you want pizza, this place is an absolute must stop!

This pizza is a solid 7.5/10 the pizza isn’t really cheesy or saucy. Which ok fine, Italian pizza doesn’t really have that but I had very high expectations for this. The sauce for the pepperoni bites was amazing and fresh, 10/10 but the pepperoni bites themselves were also pretty good, 8/10. I would recommend this authentic Italian restaurant if you want authentic Italian. Don’t recommend if you’ve got little American critters who are used to cheese and grease. Each pizza was 20$ (just regular cheese)

Best pizza place in town. No I’m not a relative or a friend. This place has fresh ingredients, homemade sauce and dough so if you need to wait a bit longer it’s well worth it. It’s the only place in town open late as well so show them some love!
