Roast beef and swiss sub with tomatoes, mayo, salt, and pepper. This is a SMALL! It was absolutely delicious and freshly made. 10 out of 10. To be inside of a truck stop, this place is a hidden gem. I look forward to coming back and trying more delicious food.

The service is always great, but don’t buy the pre-made pazzo from the heater- this is the second time I’ve done so recently, and have regretted it both times. My pazzo today was super soggy on the bottom and leathery on top, it had clearly been in the heater for hours. It’s pretty much inedible. My mistake, but figured I’d warn others to order your own fresh food, even if they tell you to get your order out of the heater instead!

First time ordering from this Amatos, and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered by phone and the pick up time was only 5 minutes off. Prices are typical, and the food quality is good. We love the calzones and veggie stuffers.

Amato’s is a Maine staple, and I’m glad they’re at this location. They make great food and have an opportunity to expand, so that’s great. I highly recommend a freshly made pazzo bread… there’s practically nothing better tasting anywhere in the area.
