A contemporary Indian restaurant that I frequented during Fall ’22. I usually get the make-your-own-bowl for about $13 (after student discount) to-go, and have never tried their a la carte options.

If you want to have some of the most delicious Indian food, go to AMBO. It is a modern and casual spot with a great variety of Indian delicacies. The bowls include a base, beans, protein, veggies, toppings, and drizzle. They also have tacos, roti, rice pudding, and a variety of beverages including my personal favorite mango lassi.

Such yummy Indian food! Flavorful, tasty, fairly priced & such good quantity. I think we found a place for our comfort food. The staff is so friendly and the service is super quick. The ambiance is really good and a perfect place to grab a quick lunch /dinner. Their masala chai is one of the best I’ve in NYC… I’ve never had Naan as soft as theirs before… This is the first place where I’ve seen biryani-flavored sauce & that is just so magically delicious. Never tasted a sauce like this before.
