My pregnant wife was craving some Mediterranean food so we stopped here on our way through town. We loved it, the food was some of the best we have had. The meat was top quality as well as the other side items accompanying the main dish. The employees are very nice and professional. After speaking to the owner we understood why, its because he is nice and professional. While we were dining in he shared some of his life stories and how he came to America. My wife and I both really enjoyed speaking with him while we ate this amazing food.

We wanted something other than fast food while passing through Calhoun, and I’m so glad I found Ameer’s. I ordered online, and it was ready when I walked in. The food was so delicious! Great flavor and generous portions. Got a small Lebanese salad with 2 kabobs, and it was too much to finish (super fresh and flavorful, though!). Hubby got the chicken pita, and it was soooo good, as were the seasoned fries. There is an outdoor patio if you’re traveling with your pup.

Ameer’s is a delightful surprise in this area. We were traveling passing through and did not want the same old fast food unhealthy choices. As soon as we saw his Mediterranean menu we had to try it. The food was right on! We had the mixed grill and beet salad. True to its roots but adjusted a little for American taste. For example the Kofta kebab was not as spicy as I am used to given I am from the general area of origin. The service was pleasant and delightful. The owner came to greet us and it is pleasant talking to him. It is a perfect stop off of exit 312 on I-75. Well done Ameer.

CALHOUN WAKE-UP! This restaurant not only made up for the lack of the calhoun outlets but honestly it was just darn good! I mean this hidden gem lost in calhoun just doesn’t do it justice AT all. I really wish they would have moved the location to Dalton or chattanooga where they would be appreciated for what is to me some damn good Mediterranean food. If you haven’t been here and you live close YOU ARE WRONG! STOP! GO NOW! Your tastebuds will thank me. Thank you for a wonderful time and a full belly that was satisfied beyond expectations.

Absolutely scrumptious! The meal was incredibly fresh and healthy, exceeding my expectations! I ordered the ‘Combo 1’, which consisted of a delightful assortment of items, including a refreshing salad, pita bread, rice, hummus, lamb and chicken, accompanied by soft drinks.

Ameer’s was an excellent choice for hungry travelers who avoid chain restaurants and fast food. We both had platters (#4 pictured) with schwarma. We also had the beet salad which was the best. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the dishes to the table. Beverages are self serve. Nothing fancy, just good food.

We were traveling through the area and looked at the list of restaurants. We are so glad that we chose Ameer’s Mediterranean grill. The woman who took our order was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was prepared and served promptly. It was extraordinarily good. very flavorful, well, prepared and authentic. We’re sorry we won’t be in town long enough to come back and try some of the other dishes. We are pretty sure that the local community knows what a gem they have in their community by the demographic of the customers we observed while we were there.

Stopped in for some healthy lunch. We had a great experience. They had vegan options. Also it appears you could get a RV bus or even a semi truck in the parking lot. Of course I reccomend you overview Google maps first. Thank you for the quality fresh food options! The food and service was excellent.

You will regret not eating here sooner after you try it! We left feeling like we weren’t charged enough for the greatness we enjoyed. Steak kabobs were phenomenal. Chicken will have you craving more. Ridiculously great Mediterranean food.
