Awesome old world Italian food! Great atmosphere with an old meets new cozy kind of vibe. They make their own marinara and it shows. Homemade pizza crust with fresh toppings. Freshly cut mozzarella wrapped in a wonton wrapper and fried is their new take on a boring old cheese stick, and it is good! Especially when dipped in some leftover garlic sauce from the homemade garlic knots! Toni (the owner) is a sweetheart and the pride she takes in her family heritage shows.

Pizza could be outstanding if they would just add some actual toppings. I grew up in Europe and to me this just wasn’t the Italian Pizza I grew up on, so it may just be expectations that are higher than need be. We loved the Chicken Marsala but it felt that when ordered again the consistency of the sauce wasn’t the same. It felt like the kitchen needed a solid leader. Personally I feel this place is great for its atmosphere, but in the kitchen there is room to grow and I know they are working to improve all the time. Hoping next time it will be much better.

Wow. Just wow. This place is AMAZING to say the least. Service was amazing! Every worker I encountered was friendly and had a smile on their face. As for the food… SO GOOD!! I got a sub (so did my boyfriend) and it was delicious. We couldn’t stop talking about how great our subs were. I mean they were just the right temperature and taste. The bread was soft but yet crunchy on the outside. The thing practically melted in my mouth it was so good! And the fries…. Oh boy the fries were like no other. I asked for ketchup at first (creature of habit) but I ended up not even needed it because the taste of the fries alone were amazing. Everything was awesome and I can’t wait to go back! Way to go amelio’s!

Less than half the tables were full and it took 40 minutes to get 2 kids pizzas and 3 salads and there was no apology or explanation once our food finally arrived. Additionally, we didnt even see our server during those 40 minutes. Then our salads came with no dressing and it took 10 minutes to get that. And once we tried to eat them the greens were so wilted and nasty more than half the salad could not be consumed.

Had thee worst taco pizza. First one was burnt and dry. Second try was better but still not good. Not one word of a discount after setting an hour. No word of encouragement from the manager on duty. Had very good pizza last time we were there. Might not go back.

I definitely recommend the Italian Stallion sandwich. It was quite tasty, but beware that the bread is crusty and will do a number on the roof of your mouth. The side salad is small, but mighty, especially with the Parmesan Peppercorn dressing. Super satisfying! The peach mimosa was delicious, especially the caramel cinnamon drizzle on the glass. The atmosphere is festive and fun, but noticably loud. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and will come back again.
