The food was pretty good, the service was definitely great. The atmosphere was pretty good. Overall would come back again. The burger was super hot and fresh tasting, and the grilled cheese was just ok, not really worth the $9. Peanutbutter milkshake is delicious. Will come back just for one of those.

Stopped here while on my California road trip. Got the fried fish sandwich while my boyfriend got the burger. Everything was SO delicious! The atmosphere makes the whole experience feel homey and casual. By far one of the best beer battered fish sandwiches I’ve ever had. Server was extremely approachable and kind as well. Lovely place! Would definitely recommend!

Super friendly staff, decent burgers, great location. Recommend eating there…like most burger joints, takeout was not great, due to soggy fries, but we’ll give it another try, when we have time to eat there. Everything was very flavorful and made to order. Definitely a quality place.

Mediocre burger and what I think is a pretty high price. But I am obviously in Monterey so what should I expect? Bought four burgers that included fries and no drinks and it cost me $70. Not really gourmet by any means. Carls Jr. might have been better??

Good diner style thick burgers and fries. Classic theme decor. They have live music on some evenings. Its just a couple blocks walk from cannery row. There are a few tables indoor and a maybe 3 outdoors with a sun umbrella. Soda are sold by the can. They do offer Coke products. Order at the counter and wait to be served. When done, don’t forget to go back to the counter to pay. There is a small parking lot that can fill up quick so maybe better to find street parking.

First time at this place. We were super hungry and ended up here. Checking to yelp and claimed the free strawberry milkshake, which was super awesome. Had chicken French roll and veggie burger both were great. Upgraded the fries to seasoned fries which was freshly made. The guy was super awesome and the whole place gave us a traditional feel.
