Ordered bushel of large (number 1) crabs, received two bags of small ones. Owner of this place said “ this is how crab business works” really? Charge consumers higher price (almost doubled) for bags of $&$!. He said to bring what we have left back and he will RESELL IT!!! Just imagine you would be the one who will buy crabs which was already served somewhere else. Stay away!

To be very honest, this is definitely one of the times I wish we could rate on the half system as this experience was more a 3.5 than a 4, but hey, I round up. The Staff was awesome and I really enjoyed the interaction. I had to be in the area for business and I headed straight to the location from the airport arriving early evening. As my reviews continue to show, I’m a die-hard seafood fanatic and I look for spots to visit wherever I go. There was a great selection at this market style location and I bought the tray of crab legs as well as a 1/2 lb. of the Cajun boiled shrimp and 1/2 lb. of the garlic butter shrimp. The shrimp were fresh and appeared to be well-seasoned, but they lacked flavor. The snow crab were sweet and the flavor was slightly better infused. The price was fair. I would visit at least one more time with high hopes for more flavorful food.

Them crabs. Once I started I ain’t been nowhere else for whole body blue crabs. And they always throw an extra 1 – 2 more than what you paid for. Very polite staff. Besides the long ride down to the end of the Boulevard, I have nothing bad to say about this place. A+ rating all the way.

We stayed nearby yesterday and based off the reviews here decided to try American crab co. I was psyched because, literally, my favorite food is crab cakes. Anyways, the food looked awesome. The clams and mushrooms were pretty tasty. My issue was with the crab cakes. They looked so good and I was so hyped. However, the flavor wasn’t there. Literally. Not much flavor. No old bay, no crab, nada. Idk. The fried oysters also just tasted like the breading. The shrimp tasted, maybe, not that fresh? My kids, who love peel and eat shrimp, were grossed out by the ends being more hard. They kept trying to say the shell was still on. I don’t know man. I was super excited but pretty let down. Three stars for the tasty mushrooms and clams.

Always a great place for crabs. Plenty of sizes to fit budgets. Maryland or garlic crabs are delicious. Crabcakes are good nice size. They carry variety of seafood king, snow, Dungeness. Now they even have lobster rolls hot butter or with mayo, can’t wait to try these new items. Been in this location for decades I’ve been going since the mid “70”. You can get fried food, salads, fries & more. It’s just take out. So next time you’re looking for some good local seafood for lunch, dinner or get together stop in & check them out you won’t be disappointed.

This is our go to place for crabs. You can get all your seafood here, including salads. We really don’t get anything else except for crabs but everything is always fresh and you can also pick what size crabs you want. They even have a self service kiosk for easy ordering.

Would not come here again. Young slim Caucasian guy with glasses and beard was very rude and ignorant to both me and my mother regarding taking our order. We told him we we’re waiting for over 5 minutes and he made a big fuss about he has to take one order at a time but yet he was the one being lazy just standing around dragging his feet… the audacity
