My experience was horrible. I went today 08/24/23 and the cashier had an additude from the beginning. My ticket number was 124. She added a drink to my order I didn’t ask for, slammed my ranch on the counter and didn’t even give it to me , slammed the change I gave her on the register as she counted it as well. Very unprofessional. She was African american, short dark skinned with glasses and a navy blue shirt . She needs to be fired!!!

The food is good. They have a variety, so you’re not limited on choices. As for the atmosphere, it’s a food court and there really isn’t anything you can do to change that. What really makes this place stand out is the employees. Always polite and helpful and anyone who has shopped anywhere lately knows that it’s harder and harder to find these days.

I don’t know who owns or runs this place but I would be embarrassed to be that person. I usually bypass American Deli but this evening I did not. I walked up to 2 young ladies behind the counter with their hair tied in sleeping scarves. Neither one wanted to put their phone down to take my order. One finally decided it was her turn. She said “what’s your order” so I ordered. The other one brought my food to the counter. She never stopped her cellphone conversation. She just opened my box to show my food, dashed a little requested salt on my fries. Then turned and walked off.

I will NEVER order from this place again. I ordered a wings meal, all flats with fruit punch. Food was cold, not all flats and my drink was missing. No one answers the phone when you call. I didn’t get my money back or an offer to send replacement meal

This American Deli has very good hamburgers! The staff was helpful and the food was pretty quick and came out very hot. When we were there there was plenty of seating and the tables seemed to be clean as well. I would definitely go back for another burger!

Counter tops was dirty, 2 employees sitting behind the counter eating. If they was on break should be eating elsewhere. It was really filthy. The food is usually very good but who can eat from a place that doesn’t clean.

Meridian, MS location has awful customer service. They don’t even acknowledge you when you walk up to order. The shrimp fried rice tastes good, but has more fried egg than anything. The wings are not good. The Tuscaloosa location has delicious wings and great customer service!
