I grew up 90 minutes on the MTA line from NYC, and the food and the ambiance made me feel 30 years younger. Docking a star on the atmosphere because the swinging chairs attached to the tables didn’t extend far enough out to make room for my plush-sized belly, and because someone affiliated with the restaurant (I think, based on what I overheard of conversation) spent their entire time at their table staring at me for being transgender where they could see.

It’s an awesome little deli style sandwich shop straight out of the 80s! Amazing food made right Infront of you, friendly passionate staff, and the dining area has an impressive collection of authentic arcade units, inducing TWO RARE INITIAL D RACERS! I highly recommend this store, for dine in or takeaway.

I stopped in here for lunch Saturday afternoon on the way home. The restaurant is older style but there’s lots of space in the floor area and they had several arcade games along the wall that people could play and many of them were old school. It was neat to watch them cut the bread and make my sub and the bread was quite delicious. This is a very simple restaurant, but great for a quick bite to eat and a delicious sandwich. The prices are comparable with Subway, the staff was quick and friendly to deal with and the restaurant seemed fairly clean. Arabic

I love this place.. The family team here are so funny and fun to engage with. The best subs around.. Reminds me of a NY Bodega store.

The owner, and workers are some of the most friendly people on this planet. They make you feel right at-home once you enter. They remember you by name and they also remember what you ordered the last time. Great place!

My favorite sandwich shop in Durham. So glad they survived covid. Freshest ingredients, and when they say “giant sub”, they mean it. Well over 14-inches

This place has a friendly staff and great sandwiches. Very similar to Jersey Mike’s, if that place was a family own restaurant instead of a franchise. The sandwiches are large enough for the very hungry, coming in two sizes; 8inches and 16 inches. It doesn’t hurt that they’re delicious as well. Also they have arcade games which is always plus in my book.
