First off the staff was amazing and service was great. Unfortunately our appetizer was still cold in the middle so it wasn’t made fresh the staff and kitchen fixed the issue. Wonderful decor and atmosphere despite a worker having their kid there. Salads and bread were amazing. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Wish the appetizer hadn’t been frozen and the fries weren’t hand cut. For the up charge and atmosphere you’d think it would be made in house. Highly recommend though maybe try the Brussels sprouts my husband loved them. Parking lot was weird because someone parked right behind us and we had to maneuver our way out. It was empty when we got there but then people were parking all over the lot. Restrooms were clean.

This is top notch little restaurant. The atmosphere is quaint, yet refined with live music and candles and fresh flowers on the table. The service is exemplary from start to finish. The hostess, our server (Alex) and the other wait staff are very attentive and professional. The menu has a nice variety of options. We enjoyed the sirloin and Hawaiian steak, both were delicious and cooked to our request. They offer a broad wine & drink menu as well as many desserts. We will definitely be back & are excited to have this local gem in our community.

UPDATE: Came back 6 months later and it was as good as ever. The couple with us said it was the best carrot cake they ever had. I absolutely loved the salt skin baked potato and ate the entire potato. Thanks for keeping the high standard. Awesome steak and price.

We came here for our anniversary. I asked at work (Grandfather Mountain) where the best place was to get Prime Rib for our anniversary dinner. Everyone, without hesitation, concurred that Americano Steak House in Roan Mountain. Specifically Thursday nights for their Prime Rib Special.

The food was top notch! My steak was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of char! My lady had the Overmountain chicken which was also delicious! The service was both quick and excellent and the menu has a proper broad selection that will surely allow you to find a meal no matter what you’re in the mood for!

Very good meal. Nice atmosphere. Wonderful owner. Only thing I would recommend is when you make rolls from scratch, you automatically put out REAL butter. We had the prime rib and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The green beans were great. Both were very good. Can’t wait to go back.

Bonnie S. was our server and she was amazing. Always at the ready with the refills and excellent suggestions! All of the staff was super attentive and the food was delicious. The beer battered mushrooms with the house ranch was probably the best I’ve ever had. I’m ashamed I live in Roan Mountain and it’s taken me this long to try this place out, but we will be back!

What a amazing find in Roan Mountain, from the entrance to the decor the place is seriously cool. The waitress was super friendly and the owner was on the ball when it came to food and service . We really enjoyed a 3 course meal as the menu items were fantastic. The steak and calamari was cooked to perfection .
