Ordered soup and two rolls. After waiting 40 plus minutes the waiter apologized because their tablets went down but we watched table after table receiving orders despite a lot being seated after we “placed” our order. 6 Togo orders made there way out and approximately 7 tables came and left, it would have been more genuine to have said they lost our ticket or neglected to enter it. Very frustrating will not be back as the dining area is very small and noise bounces off the walls and service was trash. Multiple reviews regarding timing issues, I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt. By the time we were ready to purchase the soup and leave the fried rolls came out they weren’t even cooked more than what a pancake would have after an hour and twenty minutes wait.

Sushi was delicious. It was on par with pricey restaurants, but closer to a budget price. Great value, tasty rolls, and overall good vibes in the restaurant. Only complaint is when we called to make an order for pickup, they declined due to being understaffed. Didn’t make sense to me, but hey, I’ve never run a restaurant before.

This spot USED TO be our go to weekly family dinner spot. The last couple months the service has gone down hill. BIG TIME! No attention to detail. Forgotten our appetizers miso soups on back to back trips.

We were looking for a sushi restaurants in placerville and found Amerikan Ichi Sushi. My girl friend ordered the Lobster sushi roll and I ordered one of the Bento boxes. The food was fresh and very flavorful. We will definitely be back soon.

Not sure what happened to this place but they dropped the ball in lots of ways with our order tonight. I called ahead (Thursday 5:30pm) and was put on hold, that’s fine, then a while goes by and another person answers like they forgot I was on hold. I try to say my order which was two rolls and two miso soups. The woman didn’t have a language barrier but a competence barrier or something. I had to correct her SO many times when trying to say my roll/order that I asked if the phone was breaking up. She said no. Ordering was such a hassle because she kept reiterating things wrong then it would be an hour wait, sure I’d wait even when my gut told me to just go to another place. Went to pickup to realize she STILL didn’t get my order right and put one miso instead of two, had to wait longer for that and she still rung me up for the second one which was her mistake in the first place and held things up more. I get home and the second roll has absolutely no sauce on it and my friend said it was the “driest tasteless” roll ever. Mine would literally fall apart as soon as I grabbed it and I couldn’t even get it to my mouth before it was in pieces. Weird. Then they gave us one soy sauce packet for what was obviously a two person meal. One?? Really? So disappointed and will not be going here or recommending it after this experience. Do better.

Best Sushi we have ever eaten. The price is great and the rolls not only have beautiful presentation but they taste unbelievable. The staff is amazing right from the owner to the chiefs right down to the waiters/waitresses all are amazing.
