GREAT FOOD! Mexican & American

What a gem! We stopped here on our way to Monument Valley for a quick bite. They were accommodating with our time crunch and the tacos were delicious. So delicious that we made a point to stop again on our way back. This time we had fajitas and they were every bit as delicious. Do not miss this wonderful restaurant!

I wasn’t expecting much as the other options were fast food. I was wrong. This is excellent food regardless of where it is located. The outside waiting area threw us for a loop but the wait was short. Once inside, we understand. The dining area is small but there is a patio as well. I was torn what to order but settled on the mutton tostada. I was amazed how good the food was. The flavor was amazing. I could tell the family was as impressed as they shared taste with one another. Service was quick and we got our food quick. My only regret is this is not local to us or I would be back weekly.

Made a quick stop here to grab some takeout on our way to Durango. It was absolutely delicious! The Navajo Taco was fantastic and the Amigo Fries were just the best thing ever. I will be dreaming about the pumpkin mole forever. I would make a 2+ hour drive just to eat here! Well done Amigo Cafe!!

If you’re trying to get from one destination to another through this highway, this is the only reasonable choice. The food was good, but coffee machines weren’t available, and service was slow. Facing the options, this is your best choice along the route.

Nice restaurant in a dumpy town. If you come through the area and are looking for somewhere to get food, this is worth your time. It was raining when we came through, and their parking lot was a giant mud hole. So that’s not great. But the food was decent. I had some sort of Mexican/Navajo fusion type dish. I think it was called a fry bread taco? A little bland unless you add their house salsa. But that made it very nice! Worth a visit!

I had the pleasure of eating here multiple times recently. Amazing food and service. The parking lot resembles a mine field, be careful. Best food in the area by far. Prices are very reasonable as well.
