Ordered tortilla soup and nacho supreme to go. Everything tasted a little off. The salsa was watered down and tasteless. Soup and nacho were marginally acceptable. The place was busy so I’d assume maybe they had a bad night.

Awesome place to eat. Our family love it here. The owners are always present and run a great eatery. Our favorites are the chimichanga, enchiladas a la crema, shrimp cocktail and tacos. Best food and best service. Always a pleasure to go there!!!

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Monroe. I have to come here at least once a month if not more than that for the queso dip alone. The staff have always been friendly and attentive, from the 3 years I’ve been dining there. The amigos special is my go-to meals but the carnitas tacos are hard to beat as well. If you just need a feel good snack, the side of rice covered in cheese is hard to beat.

We are in town for work, so I looked up Mexican restaurants with good reviews and we found Amigos. We are happy to say that the reviews were true. This place is great! The queso cheese is absolutely delicious!! Beef and chicken fajitas were on point, and the beef soft tacos were a hit with my daughter. They have a guac salsa that is very tasty. Drinks are served in large glass mugs- our server kept them filled. I can tell a lot of local people frequent this place because I overheard another server asking about a customers family. It was not a loud place, it was clean and spacious booths to sit 6 maybe 8 easy. All in all a very good choice for lunch today.

We have a large family and normally when we go out to eat it’s 20 people or more. We normally get treated rudely or like we’re an inconvenience. Well not at Amigos! They was super nice, and acted very appreciative that we chose their restaurant. Great food and definitely great service! Also It’s a lot of food for a decent price.

The waitress checked on us frequently, even though we have not received our food, but when our food arrived to our table, the waitress put ticket on the table, I said wow she told me no more ordering anything else so we paid the bill. Good luck IF you visit this place.
