We came in for dinner after finishing up a show at Long Beach Convention Center. Street parking is available but somewhat limited. Reservation is recommended. This spot feels like a more sophisticated Mediterranean food place, beautiful interior and outdoor seating is available, too.

It was our first time! We LOVED the atmosphere and ambiance. Food was DELICIOUS. BAKED FRESH PITA BREAD AND HUMMUS to die for. We ordered the Kabob plate and Lemon Chicken . It’s always iffy trying out a new place. I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

We went to Ammatoli to celebrate a special event. Because there was a party of six, they charged us a 20% gratuity, which was okay since the service was very good.

This restaurant has left the best impressions! Welcoming servers, very good dishes, beautiful presentation, and most importantly delicious dessert. The food brings back a lovely feeling of being back home in the Middle East. Everything was perfect. I would totally recommend coming to Ammatoli.

Stopped by for lunch today with my daughter… I am from Jordan and this place was beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the food was super authentic, reminded me of my mom’s cooking (chills). I highly recommend it. I haven’t stopped talking about it to my friends and family. I can’t wait to visit again. It was great meeting you Dima.

I’ve been here several times and tried several food on their menu. This place has great decor and ambiance, very clean, great vibes and authenticity representing the levant. The chef is very friendly and talented, I love all her dishes! The service is great, except for couple times with the same server who is not friendly nor attentive to our needs, other than that the service is impeccable as everyone is welcoming and friendly. I consider this place pricy and thus appropriate for special occasions. Also please expect a long wait or to sit outside if you don’t have a reservation. I think they can improve the reservation system and also allow for more walk-ins to be seated inside. However, the wait and pricing is definitely worth it and I highly recommend this place.

Solid food. Super clean. Great portions and good ingredients. The beet hummus and the shawarma platter were my favorite. Interesting take on coleslaw. Easy parking. Clean bathrooms. Great vibe.

We have visited Ammatoli in a weekday evening for dinner, sat in patio which was sidewalk in front of restaurant.Being a turkish, here is the one of the mediterranean restaurants id like to visit for long time. It was little disappointment that they don’t have anything turkish even beer(they have armenian) since many of the food on the menu turkish origin. We were party of 4 so i tried to order food for share to try as much as we can. Meat kibbeh crafted beautifully thin crust, i wanted to try meat manush that reminds me turkish dish lahmacun but it wasn’t thin crusted and meat wasn’t flavored as lahmacun but it wasn’t bad at all. Im impressed by grape leaves(dolma), served warm and pomegranate gave the sourness as it should be. Spicy potato dish was ok, it reminded me spanish tapas dish, nothing too special about it, spicy hummus as well. From mixed kebab dish, i like kafta which were between turkish kebabs and meatball dish(kofte), chicken was ok, don’t know why they have ribeye kebab since their lamb kebab has similarities but much better. As desert ordered knafah, it was crunchy and served warm, so its good, i know lebanese knafah uses different kind of kadayif but this one has traditional style. Overall it was good experience, my guests enjoyed the food, I must say it wasn’t that great as advertised on instagram just saying.

Beautiful place, great parking, & delicious food but the whole inside back area near the mirrors was infested with fruit flies. There were multiple times when the flies would land on our food and our server even had to change out my wine because a fly found it’s way there.

It was a pleasure to visit this place for the first time. Two of my friends recommended it to me, and I enjoyed my Mediterranean lunch very much: quarter chicken (breast and wing), side of hummus and zesty salad. The chicken was super tender. I am planning to bring my whole family next time to enjoy your meze experience the service was
