First of all, this place is using old name. The waiter told us that this place is running for the last three years under new management “Mirch Masala”. I’m not even sure if they are still serving Halal food or just using the name of old management.

The food I ordered hurt my teeth. Exactly while I was speaking with restaurant manager about the bread, a peace of rock came under my teeth. The bread was burnt out as you may see in the pictures. Now I’m trying to contact the restaurant owner. You can see the garlic nan in the pictures. The food was also very salty.

This afternoon, I placed an order for egg biryani through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, what I received was far from biryani – it appeared to be a tasteless curry combined with rice. The experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the high cost. I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience.

I ordered Hyderabadi mutton biryani and they sent me chicken biryani. First of all it is not biryani that they give you, it’s basically chicken curry mixed with rice. Don’t trust this restaurant, it’s not a place serving authentic dishes.

Aug 4 2019 late night dinner with Svp. Got vegetarian paneer biryani: $12. The cashier was nice. There was delay due to confusion in the order. Received complimentary drinks as compensation. The Food tasted different from Indian restaurant, but could be improved further. The portion size was huge. Also tried vegetarian samosa: good and seemed freshly made.

This places RULES. I can’t believe I’ve lived on the hill for so long without coming here. The food is beautifully made and very fresh, and the service is very friendly. It’s a family-run place and the vibe in there is simply wonderful. I highly recommend this place; it’s a gem.

I ordered mutton biryani from them and what they did is mixed white rice with some curry and gave me soggy box of rice and called it biryani. Very disappointing and offensive as they feed this dish called biryani to people who don’t know what a good biryani is.

Doubtful about halal meat claim. They serve alcohol. For meat to be halal you need values and when you sell alcohol on the side it shows your values are compromised in regards to Halal and Haraam. I don’t think thet even know what it means when they say its halal.
