I had a pork plate with fries and mac & cheese. The pork was surprisingly bland. The mac & cheese was dry without much flavor. The fries were the worst. They were real cut potatoes, but were not crispy, or even all that hot. They were just limp and looked as if they were fried in old oil. The only positive was the sweet tea. I usually hate sweet tea in restaurants because they are TOO sweet, but this was good.

We had the ribs (baby back) and while tasty and real wood smoked, we prefer spare ribs from a traditional smoke house. We were greatly disappointed in the poor service. We attribute that to everyone has a bad day. The real star here is the building itself. The owner has done a great job in creating a homey feel.

We decided to have breakfast here this morning on our daughter’s recommendation and it was incredible! Food, especially the biscuits were delicious! The customer service was excellent! And we all went back for dinner and it was some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had! I wish I had taken photos from dinner! This place 8s amazing!
