Went here for dinner when the restaurants in OEC were on a long wait. Called ahead and way it sounded was like they could fit us in, arrived and was basically empty. Sat down, from order it was 30 minutes to receive an appetizer, an hour and 10 to receive food. Weirdest thing, the naan came out last (and was oddly oily/wet). When the owner/cook/person working came by and said sorry for the wait, said it was because of several unexpected tables (there were two tables seated when we arrived, a group of two and a family of 5). When our order was ready, a majority of it just was no good (oily, bland/no flavor, small ratio of protein to sauce). During the wait, we looked a bit more at the restaurant here on Google and got a lot of enjoyment about the owners replies to previous reviews and really it all kind of came together at the end.

Worst Indian food …. I can handle worst food but not customer service… they didn’t say hello, they stuck the happy hour menu to the door and wanted the us walk to the door, check the menu , walk back to the counter and place the order, if you running a restaurant why can’t you keep the menu printed. She post on howard county always so we wanted to check it out. Appalling customer service and food was so greasy and so bad taste. Never going back!!!

During our recent visit my friends and I were left with a rather unsatisfactory impression. Despite the lack of a crowd, the wait time for our food was incredibly long, which left us wondering about the efficiency of the restaurant’s operations. It was perplexing to see the staff seemingly overwhelmed despite the absence of a bustling atmosphere.

Great spot for lunch! My family stopped in while my daughter had a dance class next door. The service was fast and very friendly. The waiter was attentive and recommended a good Indian beer. The owner came out to check on us and was very kind. The food was tasty and just the right spice level. Definitely recommend this spot!

Worst tasting food ever! We ordered chicken biryani and chicken 65 take out and chicken in both of them smell. Stale smell. Saw an ad in howard county indian community page and decided to give it a try and the taste in my mouth spoiled my Friday evening. Just don’t even try. When I picked up the food there was no one there and didn’t get a position feeling that food is going to be good and it became true. I called and complained that food is bad and the lady I talked to was very rude and kept saying there are people in the restaurant she has to serve. Bad experience in and out

Would not recommend for dine in. The food could be better. The hours are not accurate. The idli sambar was not flavorful, it was cooked incorrectly. The food is served in disposable plates. Tables were dirty, bathroom is dirty. This is not a typical dine in spot, they do not take your order at the table or offer complimentary water. My friend who came with me put up a review and the owner decide to confront her on the spot. The owner went back and forth with her, did not ask for any constructive criticism and continued to disrespectfully defend the restaurant. She continued to shake her head (no) as we spoke on our opinion as to why we did not enjoy the experience. There is so much work that they need to do with the food, service and environment. The price of the food does not reflect the quality of the food itself, environment or service. Would not recommend AT ALL.

Great place for Indian food. We ordered cut mirchi, samosa chaat with channa and dosas. They give 4 different chutneys with south Indian sambar. Everything was delicious, especially sambar. I will recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I usually don’t write a negative comment on restaurants but this was worse and I just want food lovers like me to know before going this restaurant. I visited this restaurant first time (also it would be my last time) and ordered the poori, idly, and vada. The poori was filled with oil, to the point where it became unpleasant to eat. When I voiced my concern to the lady, her response was dismissive, claiming that sometimes oil seeps into the poori. However, every poori on my plate was drenched with oil.

This place needs to shut down. The vada was raw and everything tastes like it was frozen. I’m am appalled at the business’ reply to people who have had genuine concerns, instead of improving the quality, the owner even shames someone for wearing something that they consider inappropriate. This is unacceptable. If the food is not good, a reviewer must be able to express their opinions without being bullied by this owner.
