First time here, they gave me a sample of the soups they had. Each so was so good but my fave was the clam chowder. I ended up buying a Togo soup the clam chowder was that good! The Grapefruit Paloma was a well balanced drink and big, I did get in on happy hour so it was half the price. For my appetizer I got the crab Mac and cheese, it paired perfectly with the tomato Parmesan sauce. For my side I got hush puppies and my main course was the special of the day or week. Well seasoned fish with a good char on it and steamed asparagus the sauce paired on it was delicious. Overall I would come back!

The service was great, but the food was severely lacking in the flavor department. I was quite let down, there’s just no seasoning. However, it was quiet and clean during lunch. I’m not sure I’d go back unless someone recommended a specific dish.

Anaya’s has quickly become mine and my husband’s favorite date night (or day) spot. The prices can’t be beat and the quality of the food is too notch. Everything is flavorful and delicious. Served at the perfect temps, seasoned perfectly, and presented prettily. The servers are kind, friendly, and has always been great. The restaurant is decorated nicely, is clean (including the bathroom), and has a large chalkboard with the specials on it.

I absolutely love this place. The service was great, we were given complimentary sample all their soups except for the black bean. All the soups were super delicious. Their oysters were very good. The margarita was good as well, I don’t remember which margarita we had

Excellent customer service. Staff was attentive without being intrusive. Creamy poblano soup was amazing. Had flounder for the first time ever and it was really good. The red sauce was very good with the calamari. The bread pudding was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Very nice atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive.

The Gulf Oysters were good. The “mocktails” were customized to our request. The Lobster Bisque really conveyed the “bisque” texture but could’ve been just a little thicker.

Horrible first time experience. My family is visiting from MS. This was our last day together. We had breakfast and spent all day at the water park. After a long day of course we were hungry and I really heard great things about this restaurant from TikTok. We walked in and and almost left before we sat down because a few people wanted a boil bag. We were encouraged to stay by our server. We were seated way in the back we ordered our food she left. After a SHORT TIME our food was out. And served. Then the server left and didn’t come back until she felt we were done. TO SUM IT UP THE FOOD WAS WARMED FOOD THAT WAS SITTING TO THE SIDE BECAUSE NO ONE TOLD US THEY WERE ABOUT TO CLOSE. A lot of us were really hungry so we bit the bullet. But i posted two plates that were barely touched or not touched at all. I asked for the manager and they never came. Nobody tried to make the experience right. We are a foodie family and this was our last night together for a while and what a sour way to end it. One person ended up throwing up shortly after.

So my family and I came to eat here and I was excited. We first ordered a half dozen oysters. We had to ask for crackers and hot sauce which from my experience is always brought with it.I then ordered a blackened shrimp po boy. I was severely disappointed in it. The shrimp was not blackened at all. It was just cooked and seasoned shrimp. I’ve worked in a south/creole fine dining restaurant back in the day so I know what blackened is. This was disheartening and disappointing.

If you’re looking for a seafood place that isn’t just another boil, or North Texas “Cajun” abomination, but you’re not in the market to spend $50+ per plate, then take a trip to Anaya’s Seafood. The atmosphere is nice, not “Ooh let me dress up” nice, but certainly nice enough that you wouldn’t be out of place if you were already dressed for something else. The service was actually pretty close to the higher end places I have been, friendly, prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.
