Unexpectedly delicious and surprisingly cheep too! Granted I ordered off the lunch menu but when my total with 25% tip comes out to just over 20 dollars, that’s a win in my book. Did I mention I got double protein too?

I’m from Los Angeles and I love Thai food and eat it often and especially since my son-in-law is Thai. Anchan Thai food is very good. I had the Drunken Noodle with shrimp dish and it came with lots of shrimp. I asked for mild and it was just the right spiciness. The service was great! I also had Anchan tea with lime juice added and it was very good.

We were so excited to try Anchan Thai. We love that they source their ingredients from local Asian markets and have some shipped from Thailand to make their food authentic. We placed our order online and went to pick it up. I went in and told Annie I had placed an order online. She took my name, went in the back, came back, and asked me what was in my order. I told her, and she said that she thought they had just sent my order with a delivery driver. I had seen a woman walk out with a large order just as I was getting out of my car. She double checked and confirmed that they had, in fact, sent our order out. She said they might have to remake it, but ended up calling the delivery company and asking if the driver could return with the food and get the correct order. We waited for our food and it was exchanged with the other order. It was a frustrating experience, which could have been made better if Annie had seemed at all apologetic. Particularly in customer service, the words “‘I’m sorry” said sincerely, can be very effective. But, no apology was offered. Hopefully, in the future, they’ll check their orders before sending them out and offer an apology if this should happen again. One other minor disappointment is that, despite the request for No Utensils (as seen on the receipt), they still included plasticware. Despite this situation, we enjoyed the food and would order from them again. Everyone can have a bad day. See our rankings below (scale of 1 to 5, asked for mild spice for everything):

This place is such a delicious place. The vibe of the restaurant is amazing, and I would go here everyday if I could. The food is so light, and yet so flavorful. I’ve seen the business owner and she is such a kind soul, you can tell that she works hard. 🙂 You need to definitely go!

The food is amazing, the Anchan Tea was delicious and beautiful and the homemade ice cream is too incredible! Worth every penny! The atmosphere is calm and serene and the service was impeccable! Wish we had 10 stars!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The staff is so friendly and the chef is lovely and kind. The food was the best Thai I have had in a long time. The fact that nearly everything can be vegan wins my heart! The Anchan tea was so delicious. I am already dreaming about going back! It took a little bit for the food to come out, so go with time because I promise you it was worth the care put into your order!

Stopped by with some coworkers for lunch. The place was inviting and very clean, service was rather slow. 1 guy running around taking orders and delivering food. Food was extremely delicious and everyone enjoyed their lunch. Green curry and Moong noodles were the star of the table. The patience and waiting was worth it.
