Stopped in for lunch while in the area and was surprised at the not so hole in the wall, hole in the wall!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming little Vietnamese restaurant, and I was blown away by the quality of the food. The pho was absolutely delicious, with a rich, flavorful broth and tender noodles, and the banh mi sandwiches were some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a cozy setting.

I’m not from the area but was out and about when I got hungry for lunch. I was excited to find a highly rated place that offered a pork rice bowl, a chicken Vietnamese sandwich, and the three color dessert. I regret to say that the experience was subpar. The rice dish was not quite the flavor profile of a true com dish. The bread for the sandwich did not taste fresh and wasn’t crunchy on the outside. The dessert was watery. Okay dishes flavor-wise which is why I gave three stars but not great.

Starting to be one of the frontrunners for my favorite Vietnamese food in Buffalo. They are the new spot in town but definitely come with great Vietnamese food. Good selection of bah mi another classic Vietnamese dishes.

Delicious Pho and spring rolls, the garlic bread you get for free after 30 dollars is definitely worth spending a little extra to try.

Delicious, unique, and reasonable pricing make this a gem hidden in one sad looking plaza. The interior is bright and inviting, service is attentive but overly so. I had the vermicelli bowl with chicken – everything was perfectly seasoned and fresh! Definitely will be back again and want to try the interesting desserts and drinks!

Delicious food and large portions. Ordered the rice bowls with crispy pork belly and chicken – both with extra meat and also a fried egg, but the regular portion probably would have been enough as we each had enough left overs for another meal! Received complimentary garlic bread which was very tasty. Easy to order online and food was ready fast.

I have visited this place quite a few times and the experience is always great. Service is superb and foods are always delicious and fresh. The Bun Bo Hue (Spicy lemongrass beef noodle soup) is perhaps one of the best in Buffalo that I’ve tasted so far. Don’t get deceived by the bowls/dishes because they’re sure big potions. The crispy pork here is another highlight that you should try. The skin is very crispy and they have a good ratio between meat and fat, not just a slab of fat like you would find at the other Chinese places. The inside vibe is also very different from the look outside. It’s clean, bright, and modern. Before this store, I’ve known Anchi through their dessert expertise with all kinds of snacks and bakeries that you can’t easily get in the Buffalo area. They have a website that offers delivery as well, and you can also book your themed birthday/party fruit cakes that are light and healthy. If you’re Vietnamese, then you would probably know the salted egg sponge cake, pork floss bread roll, and the garlic cheese bread that have been the Asian snack hype for the past few years (although the pork floss roll is more of a childhood delicacy). I’m happy that they now have a nearby store so I can visit whenever I want now. This will definitely be a regular place for me from now on.
