We had to try the Smokehouse burger & it was fantastic!! The fried pickles on top were so good! Keep in mind, their burger specials change weekly so this burger may not be available when you go! Although I do think they should add it to the menu permanently! We love to see what the special will be every week! It’s just like Bobs Burgers! The fries were hand cut and tasty! The lemonade was good to, it tasted hand squeezed and not from a mix! We will definitely be coming back! Congrats to Adam & the Schiller family!

You had me at meat tornado. Cowboy burger with beef patty, hot link AND bacon was deeply satisfying. Corn ‘ribs’ were evocative of the best Mexican elote. Wait staff was friendly and responsive. A wonderful family owned restaurant which properly restored a Route 66 institution. Can’t wait to come back for ice cream!

Great place, burgers were great. Love the thoughtfulness even down to the pickles. Hand breaded onion rings were delicious. We will definitely be back.

They seemed a little new still, I think they will better after they get settled in. The fries were soft and limp after the meal one of the employees asked how was everything and I had to tell them I would have preferred my fries a little crispy. She then told me next time to let them know and they would serve them crispy. I wished I would have known that when I ordered. The staff seemed to be nice. Again they are new and will be better when they have been here longer. The burger certainly had everything on it but the meat could have been seasoned with seasoning to bring out more flavor. Overall it was not a bad meal. The tea they serve is brewed not like the instant the last owner served. They even serve ice cream, we enjoyed having a malt with our meal. We will be coming back for sure.

Great diner food: Retha burger w/jalapeños, fried mushrooms, & catfish & fries. Service was absolutely excellent!! — We stopped here passing through town & are happy we did. The owner told us the history of this old diner and it is well worth finding out! —

Lovely little place it is very clean and the waitresses were very nice. Resembles the original one alot. It is kind of pricey but the food is good especially the pecan pie. Only thing I didn’t like was the men cooks in the kitchen cracking jokes about McDonald’s. I didn’t find that appropriate or professional at all. They were talking as if the kitchen was closed and no one could hear them and they do e it because they seen my shirt. Yes I work for them but I do electrical plumbing and carpentry for them so learn to be a bit more respectful
