The first time at this restaurant it was suggested by a couple of family members that live or are near town. There were 8 of us, and the restaurant was not busy at all. Ordered a couple of Apps. Fried Calamari and Mozzarella sticks, both were hot and fresh! I always order my go-to dish at a new Italian restaurant, Chicken Marsala. It came out hot and fresh, the only problem was the chicken was cut up, so it made it dry, but the sauce was good! Tried my wife’s shrimp scampi, and it was really good! Shrimp were big pieces and tasted fresh! The bread they gave was plan and dry! It would probably be better if it was heated up a little. Other family members ordered pizza, and it looked good. We will try the restaurant again when we are back in town again.

Food was OK, but had some short comings: house salad was served mostly warm & bread was dried out once the warm up cooled off. Chicken Parm was burnt & tough long the ends. Service was good, very attentive & friendly.

I love this place. Very nice and romantic. Great service absolutely 5stars. All of our food was amazing. Expect Large portions. Prices are not too pricey. Food is worth every penny.

Ordered lasagna, don’t know what I was served, but it wasn’t any lasagna I’ve ever had . Greasy, runny mess. Taste was awful couldn’t eat it. Rolls were old, stale and crusty. Granddaughter ordered stuffed manicotti. She couldn’t eat it either, It tasted sour and spoiled. Terrible food.

Very nice little Italian restaurant. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The food was quite good. I had the Chicken Parmesan which arrived hot and aromatic and had the right amount of sauce and crunch.

My wife and I have passed by this place several times, and I regret having not stopped in sooner. The food & service was great. We will be back!

The pizza was really good! The best in quitman to be honest. Over the phone they were meh. And the place was empty. But again, the pizza was delicious

I absolutely love the grilled chicken alfredo, it’s my favorite so far. Updated 4/7/23 – just had their Anconna pizza and pepperoni pizza, 2 more very good items to eat. Service was perfect!!!

This is by far the best Italian food we have had in the east Texas area. Everything is made from scratch. The spinach raviolis with marinara sauce are excellent as is the lasagna with homemade noodles. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious. You won’t be disappointed if you try Anconna.
