This is a good taqueria from 12 or more years ago but the prices now are the price of gold almost. Their food is good but I would not say amazing. Perhaps the quality has gone down and prices gone up due to Guy Fieri’s endorsement. That Guy Fieri gets paid to eat and endorse places and any fat guy can claim the food is amazing but it’s a far stretch of facts. This joint, will not compete with any taquerias of Mexico City. They are trying hard but it’s semi authentic not 100%. There is an equally expensive market next door with many interesting finds.

Overall we did enjoy the food. I tried 5 different tacos and my husband got the taco salad bowl. It is a very busy spot so the wait time was long when it came to ordering and waiting for food. The seating is very limited so better off calling or ordering online. The parking lot is very limited so it’s hard to get in and out when the parking lot is full.

It’s not fancy by any means but definitely worth the stop. I suggest ordering ahead on their app, as certain times of the day can get busy and longer wait. Parking is not the best, sometimes you may have to just park at the Speedway next door. That’s the only downside, everything else is great. I have always gotten the burrito, yummy!
