Poor Food with a Royal Modern ambience. We ordered Chicken Carbonara, chicken Margherita Pizza, Gnocchi pasta and Chicken Marsala. The pizza dough needed improvement. The Marsala did not have gravy. The food quality needs improvement. We spent about $50 per person. Not worth it.

Absolutely delicious food! We were staying here for a trip and everyone found their dish delicious. Two spaghetti and meatballs, one Cauliflower dish, the mushroom risotto, Caesar salad, calamari and the spaghetti carbonara.

I had the full breakfast buffet. Food is delicious. I don’t care so much for the service by my servant. Feels like she is very bossy.

Kristoffer was an amazing host with answering questions and clarifying the food options. So, at the end the food was extremely delicious, calamari hit the spot, and some gnocchi pasta to top it off. A great place to dine without a doubt at the Regency Hyatt Hotel

I was staying at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle and decided to try the Andare restaurant on the ground floor. The service was professional, prompt and friendly; the atmosphere was ok, a bit on the cold due to the setting in which the restaurant exists. I ordered the meatballs as starter and carbonara as main. While the meatballs were tasty, good in appearance and with a nice cheese/tomato flavor, the carbonara was very bland, too creamy and not anywhere close to the real Italian carbonara. Overall, not a bad experience but I doubt I’ll visit again in future.

The garlic bread was delicious and the sauce that came with it was soooo good. Our server was friendly and very helpful, could not have been better! The dessert was very sweet, a bit too sweet for my taste, but was delicious otherwise.

Pizzas were VERY salty and greasy but we loved the appetizers and soups.

Andare is the hotel bar inside of the Hyatt downtown Seattle. It’s easy to get to from the street, but parking around here is always really tough. The happy hour specials are where it’s at, good prices and decent portions. The taste of the food is actually pretty good, especially the meatballs but not the buratta. Outside of happy hour, prices go up quite a bit so this is a one drink kinda bar. Service here is hit or miss, food takes a long time to come out, and the second there are more than 10 people in the bar area, service seems to get super slow, so avoid it if it’s busy. Overall it’s a good happy hour spot early on when it’s not busy, but not really any other time.

It’s a bummer that reviews from breakfast and dinner are merged, because it seems they should be differentiated. I visited for dinner – The service all around was great, especially the host/manager/maitre’d gentleman. They have a lot of gluten free options, and are good about remembering that as your preference. I was originally in the mood for pizza, but I feel like I would have been disappointed after seeing photos in other reviews. Tomato soup was good, it wasn’t very creamy but had just the right amount of cheese which added that element. For entree I ordered chicken picatta (GF), it was heavy on the capers but chock full of flavor. I don’t usually have dessert, but the cannoli was asking for a sampling. Everything was delicious and I’m sure I stretched the limits of my daily calorie intake in one meal. The only opportunity for improvement is with their online system: the menus posted online are different from the actual menu presented at the table. I booked a reservation at 5:30 and the soonest time offered was 7:15, which I chose, however when I arrived at 7:10 the dining room was less than half full. It seemed like I could have eaten sooner if I just walked in at 6:00.
