We came across this place when Googling Happy Hour. It was not as we expected. Drinks are good and service is on point but the food is nothing great. We ordered quacomole and it came with only half full and the rest tostada shells. It was tasty but not worth $10. The quesadilla they forgot to add the chicken and brought it on the side. The nachos were just basic nothing I couldn’t make at home. Nothing special. The server was great. They are trying to make this place upscale and honestly not worth what you are paying for. Might try again but would rather go to a traditional Mexican restaurant and get more for our buck!

I really loved the food especially the three cheese dip ( can’t remember the actual name on the menu) but it was the best I’ve ever eaten. The tacos were the bomb and my steak fajitas were great. I loved the churros ( don’t order the tres leches). The servers were very attentive and friendly and I’ll definitely return to try more things on the menu. I give the place a solid 5

Excellent New Mexican sit down restaurant with an open feel, limited but delicious menu, large bar with an almost outdoors-like feel, and friendly service. The highlight here are the excellent unique cocktails and the delicious food. The place can be a little hard to find, and don’t let the small outside deter you from the beautifully decorated interior!

Don’t be fooled by the glaring fluorescent lights, the cocktails and food are Excellent on par with much finer dining! The servers are extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the fresh made guacamole and salsa trio with just made fried tortilla chips. Cocktails were on par with the Vesper, the Lex, and Orchard City Kitchen. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!

Simple and focused menu for food. They home make tortillas. We sat at the bar. Good friendly service from the bartender. We will come back.

Service was exceptional. Drink was tasty! Some of the options are expensive for food. Enchiladas is good!! Had the shrmp tacs which was expensive for the size. But delicous. Gotta try the Carne Asada Tacos, they give you a lot of meat! And it’s THICK size carne asada. Would come back for drinks, but those r pricy too. Date night or a small crowd. But overall, great vibes there!

I googled mexican places and this spot came up, so we decided to give it a try. The bar area looked very nice. We chose our table and were presented w/menus. For drinks the wife had the oso polar, which she thought was good. I had the la noche en Oaxaca, on recommendation from our server. He was well versed w/the menu and had a great personality. So did yhe manager/owner. It was pretty good, if you don’t mind mezcal. For food the wife had the Mahi Mahi tacos, which were just ok her. I ordered the enchiladas, which were good. We also had fried plantains which were ok, and the arroz y frijoles. I wanted to love it, because I love black beans, but some of the rice tasted old and was hard to eat, so it wasn’t that great. Fresher rice would’ve made it better. I asked for a house made hot sauce which was good and had a nice kick. We also tried the churros, which were good.

A lovely hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant! They have a fairly small menu, but everything we tried was delicious. The elotes here are amazing, and we also enjoyed the plantains, tacos and enchiladas. They have wide selection of authentic Mexican tequilas and mezcals as well as a slew of tasty cocktails— I recommend the Noche en Oaxaca. The restaurant has nice decor but the lighting is a little bright, which I feel takes away a bit from the atmosphere. But the food, drinks and staff here are amazing, and reasonably priced— recommended!
