All I can say is wow!! I’ve had takeout with friends mostly their chicken soup which is great but today was my first dining in experience. First of all let me say this is not you typical Mexican restaurant. Not by a longshot! I had their only shrimp dish and boy was it fantastic. I live in a city with shrimp docks so I am used to good shrimp and this was as good. I ordered it with grilled onions and cheese. Sorry I don’t know the dish name but it was in Spanish. It came with rice and salad. Oh, and chips and salsa hit the table almost as quick as I sat down. Service was very good as well. I spent twenty bucks for lunch and it was worth every penny. I’m looking to trying something else on my next visit.

The food is good but their prices have become very high. Even a small bowl of the white cheese was $8!!!! So I’m going to learn to make my own Mexican food. It may be a while before I return.

Where to start seating was perfect. Chip lady spoke to me. Then sitting there 20 mins for a drink! Waiter walks past me like? Hello. To the new table first just seated! Idc about a lot, but so rude. I’d say almost discrimination. But. I wont!! Sad cause El Canc’un was worth the 4 min drive.

This is the 2nd best Mexican joint in the area. My only complaint was the chicken was very over cooked and dry, and they only give two tortillas for fajitas which doesn’t fit the portion. Everything seemed fresh.

We ordered $40 worth of takeout, and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes, which it was. The place was packed on Friday night, and it’s easy to see why. Great place, great staff, and great food. I would’ve included pictures, but we ate the food too fast. Based on the quality of food and service, plus the other reviews, this is clearly the place to eat in Hayesville when you want satisfaction guaranteed. Definitely bringing my friends back for some drinks sometime later.

Had the fajita taco salad and enjoyed it thoroughly, and had leftovers for lunch the next day. Staff friendly, fun atmosphere. A little chilly inside. I like my food a little spicier, but it was very good.

This was our first visit to Anejo Grill. It was a very busy Sunday lunch crowd so it was pretty loud. We were happy that we were seated in the back. Anyway, we really enjoyed the food. Loved the fire roasted taste of the salsa – yum! My hubby really liked his beef enchiladas and beef taco and my vegetarian meal was very good. I had the poblano pepper stuffed with cheese, a bean burrito (which was more like a bean enchilada) and a chalupa. Lots of food for sure. I ate about half my food and boxed the rest. We lived in the southwest for years and have eaten in many Mexican restaurants and although the service was nothing to brag about (hence 4 not 5 stars) this Mexican restaurant is now right up there on our list.
