Place is pretty run down, but that’s not the reason for 1 star. We were the ONLY patrons in the restaurant. We ordered a pizza. After an hour we still didn’t get a basic pizza. We stood up to leave only to find that the oven was ‘busy’ with pick-up orders and our pizzas weren’t even made yet. Never again. I’d give no stars if I could.

My husband and I laughed the entire time we ate. The calamari tasted like oil, no season at all. My husband had the Toscana Rustica, which he said tasted like oodles of noodles with sliced hotdogs with a stem on top of the plate (we actually seen him through the window cut it off of their herbs, lol). It was so bad we had to laugh. I ordered the prime rib, which came with a thick gravy like sauce on it. The potatoes were tasty but greasy. I salute whoever enjoys their food, but I will not return…EVER. Our waitress was delightful and very sweet. So unless you want to waste $50 like us, just take the drive to Port Charlotte and experience real Italian food.

Beef on Weck! Each meal I’ve had here has been well made, delicious, and generous portions. Staff is efficient, fast and friendly, they even held our leftovers while my girlfriends and I shopped the Antique stores. Can’t wait to try more!

First time but will not be the last time. Service was slow and we were not offered drink refills but food was worth the wait. We had a huge antipasto salad and huge calzones and everything was cooked to perfection.
