Yes!! This place is absolutely AMAZING!! I got the fried cod & onion rings. Totally worth it. Wow. Stop here – don’t hesitate. I was so busy scarfing down the cod, it slipped my mind to take pics.

Stopped in for breakfast on a dreary Sunday morning. Had the French Toast with ham, sausage gravy & biscuits. Brother had egg, hash browns and sausage pattys. It was all good! Jen was her usual chipper self and right on time with service.

Good food. Really nice people. My daughter said her fish was l little mushy. Other than that, great.

Fast service, large selection on the menu, and clean. I ordered hot Wing Dings (chicken wings). They were spicy, but not face melting hot. The wings were the best I’ve eaten, so far during my visit. The Coney Chili Cheese dog was great. I miss them a lot in AZ. We may have the best Sonoran dogs, but I don’t think AZ can compete in the coney dog world. The bean chili cheese fries tasted fantastic. No skimping on the cheese sauce or chili, and the small size was more than ample.

I used to love Angelo’s Coney Island in Flint where I grew up. So much so that I even make their coney sauce at home when I can’t make it up there…here are my knock offs but there is nothing like getting the real thing!

Great location for doing on our way home from Flint. Original Flint-style coneys, with generous toppings. I still crave an olive burger on occasion, and they have those too–only mayonnaise on mine. Angelo’s burgers are a bit greasy, more like sliders. My daughter was craving pancakes, but we wouldn’t order them here again. They’re chewy, and the flavor isn’t quite right–might be a combination of other flavors on the grill where the pancakes were cooked. The restaurant was clean, and service was friendly and efficient. I don’t, however, appreciate being charged 4 cents on each dollar to use my credit card. So, it wasn’t a stellar experience, but overall, it was good.

Ordered Detroit style coneys and chili fries. The food was good, but the restaurant itself was in terrible shape. Spiderwebs in corners, dirty floors, and not welcoming.

Angelo’s has been a favorite place to eat for me since I was little. My father-in-law and I went here almost daily, with incredible food and service. The burgers are fantastic as are there coney dogs. The inside offers great tables and friendly service. I’m not sure if the drive through is operating at this time. I only say that because I saw a semi truck parked there the last time I went. The prices are reasonable, especially for the taste of the meal.

Food was over priced for what I got – coney fries and pop – but it was “ok”. But what real gave me an upset stomach was that I was charged more because I used a credit card and of course this was displayed on a sign at the front counter, not anywhere on the menu or table. Over priced and then another charge on top of it? No thanks. Greedy management with less than average food – avoid.
