I’ve traveled the world and I still think the food here is some of the best I’ve found anywhere. The service is always great, and it shows when the owners (and their family and employees) really care about their guests. Try Angelo’s and see if it doesn’t become a regular habit!

Thus has always been a wonderful restaurant for families or fine dining. They have a nice patio area. Kids fettuccine is a large portion. Sandwiches are fantastic. Staff is attentive and pleasant. We have been coming here for a long time, even before they moved. Will definitely be returing.

Our first visit to Angelo’s was a good experience with above average food. The facility and vibe was great and we’re planning on coming back again for sure!

The sauce on my penne with eggplant was very bland. My husband had the rockfish special and said the fish was flavorful but tough. The waiter asked if he liked it and when my husband said no, the waiter laughed. This dish was rather expensive, he expected a good piece of fish. Never going back.but

Had an absolute wonderful time there. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Everything arrived quickly and hot. Prices were great and the servers were excellent. It’s a very busy business so it might take a little time to get a table. They are also very good with their pickup service outside for those that order ahead. It’s a charming little place but it gets pretty noisy inside with the amount of people in there and the tables are pretty close together so it may be difficult for you to hear at times.

I have always had a wonderful experience every time I have been to Angelo’s Italian Restaurant in Midlothian Virginia, and tonight was no different. I have been a loyal patron since they were in their old location, where I had the meatball parmesan sandwich and was hooked. The food is terrific and the staff is great. The new location is beautiful and fitting for an amazing family Italian restaurant. Whenever I have family come into town, we have dinner at Angelo’s.

Have given this restaurants 3 tries and each time I was disappointed. The last time I had the worst eggplant sub I’ve ever had. Undercooked thick slices of eggplant with a chewy bread that was slightly warm. I sent it back and had a meatball sub which was okay at best. I do not understand how this place has gotten so many good reviews but my experiences were not good. That’s rating the food. The service was excellent. Was waited on immediately and checked on consistently. Great service for sure.

Very good Italian and very reasonable prices. Baked spaghetti would have fed 2 at least. Ravioli was large as well.

#1 Italian Spot in RVA at this price point. This 30+ year, family owned business wholistically captures the warmth of eating in Italy at your families Villa. Large portion, tasty food, with amazing dessert (better than we had in Italy) and a great wine selection. The atmosphere is nicely appointed with murals of the families history everywhere.

I have never seen a Carbonara with peas and ham, it also had cream, the chicken parmigiana was floating in red sauce, the garlic and olive oil penne pasta was the only dish that had flavor. I think Angelo’s has lost its passion for food.
