As a Philly girl, I should know better than to order a cheesesteak from a place that has the word “subs” (it’s a hoagie!) in the name, so I guess I was sort of setting myself up for disappointment from the get go. I got the works cheesesteak and some fries. The onions and peppers were raw (not undercooked — RAW), which totally ruined it for me. Who wants a mouthful of cheesesteak with crudités inside? Not me! The meat itself was decent and it had a good amount of cheese, which is the only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1. The fries had NO redeeming qualities: tasteless, soggy, and the potato inside was undercooked/hard. I’m not one to throw away food but most of the fries went in the trash. The search for an authentic cheesesteak in Boulder continues! (The Attic’s is really delicious but a little too fancy to be a Philly cheesesteak lol; ).

Mushroom Cheese Steak, was very good. Food has been consistent the few handful of times I’ve been here. Fries are pretty good as well. Prices are a tad bit high for the amount of fries and the size of the sandwich. The service was pretty quick and staff seems friendly.

I ordered the cheesesteak with provolone, onions, and lettuce. It was delicious!!! The steak was seasoned perfectly, it had just the right amount of toppings, and the bread was soft and seemed fresh. I ordered the 7″ (regular size) which came to ~ $9.50, and I’d say it was worth it. You totally get what you pay for here – in a good way!
