(Photos of MENU: as of 3/9/17.) Great SOUL food at reasonable prices. The ribs and mac&cheese are out of this world. They have smoker and grilles on site. They offer a lunch buffet Tuesday thru Friday 11am to 2pm. Items change daily. This little unknown gem is worth the stop if your looking for amazing home cooking. *Skip the value menu, portions are tiny! Pay a little more and get the full meal, it’s worth it!

I went on my lunch hour to get takeout to bring back to the office. It took much longer than they had said it would…BUT.. it was totally worth it. I am a strong advocate for REAL mashed potatoes so I was excited when I found a piece of potato skin mixed with a few chunky pieces of REAL potatoes. The brown gravy had a great kick to it! The chicken was hot, crispy and moist, just like it should be. I LOVE to see ham bones in my greens, if there wasn’t, I would have been discouraged that they just boiled the green and served them without the full flavor of the ham bones. I finished every bite and saved the not-TOO-corny cornbread for last and it didn’t even need butter! I am very happy I stopped in after seeing BUS loads of people there every weekend. Definitely going back! Support our local businesses!!

First time today. Lovely waitress Ariel is so professional. Fried is the BEST!!! Cornbread is moist and sweet. Ribs are great as well as banana pudding. Peach cobbler!!

Service was fantastic what food was overpriced. Mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese seem to come from Frozen school lunches… Good soul food but $23 for two pieces of chicken into ribs with mac and mashed was quite ridiculous. Damn that Fried Chicken was good though LOL
