Very clean. The menu is well thought out. The dishes are very tasty and unique. The house salad is amazing with the strawberries, cheddar cheese, almonds and poppyseed dressing. The crab cakes were VERY tasty and loaded with crab. Artichoke and spinach dip is very cheesy and delicious. Hush puppies were a wonderful flavor but maybe a bit undercooked. Nothing is bland and everything was very good even if it wasn’t our favorite.

So your driving around Indiana checking out the back roads. Here’s a great place to stop for lunch. Good food. (Homemade salad dressings.) Good service. Spoke to staff and was advised to make a reservation if you want to come for dinner on the weekend.

This place was excellent! Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s much larger on the inside than it appears to be. The atmosphere is great. Food was all wonderful. And our server, Kim, was great too. We had smoked chicken wings for our appetizer, I had the Beef and Reef and he had the tips. We will be going back.

First time ever driving through the town. Looked like an interesting spot so we stopped for lunch. My wife had the chicken wrap and I enjoyed the breaded tenderloin. We also shared the deviled egg appetizer. EVERYTHING was amazing! The service, food and atmosphere were all great!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Had the deviled eggs, pretzel bites and the triple pig. Cool building, great service and amazing food. The waitress even heard us mention there was a birthday in our group and brought him a dessert on the house. Great hole in the wall find.

My friend & I were traveling through Michigiantown, while on a business trip & decided to stop at the Angry Donkey. Fantastic decision! The atmosphere is very welcoming! Our waitress was very kind & guided us through recommended items on the menu. My friend ordered a burger with fries. I ordered, one of the recommendations, the pesto chicken sandwich (with a pretzel bun) & fries. We were blown away with the amazing flavor & great price point! I absolutely recommend this restaurant & I will definitely be going out of my way to visit this place more often!

Amazing food, great service and very clean restaurant/bar. Was a little pricey, but you pay for what you get and it was amazing. Guess that’ll happen when you get desert and drinks. First time every being there and definitely will be back.

Quick stop to check out this place. Nice sized space and very clean! I got the soup for a starter and it was decent, my fiancé got the side salad. They really push their house poppyseed dressing, she got the French dressing. Only thing was the side salad came with strawberries and sliced almonds on it? (That wasn’t mentioned on the menu) We both got the breaded tenderloin with steak fries. The food was fresh and was prepared quickly. My bun had some type of goop on it from the kitchen, may need to check the prep area occasionally for cleanliness. We asked the waitress what was on tap and she scrambled and wasn’t sure, their tap list was outdated so apparently not of great concern for them. Also looked at their cocktails, their old fashion? Apparently their recipe, if you want a traditional one I’d go elsewhere for that!
