Anise was incredible! First visit and I can’t wait to be back! I sat at the bar, Amber and a guy with glasses were the kindest to me! They made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions regarding the menu, busy days and places around in The Village. The food was THE BEST and the presentation was astonishing! This is yum new favorite restaurant/bar to go to. I HIGHLY recommend the pancakes and the classic breakfast! Thank y’all for having me!

I enjoyed this experience! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I came here for DFW Restaurant Week and it didn’t disappoint. I tried the lamb kabobs, young chicken, and panna cotta. All tasty. I would consider coming back again.

This was our first time here for dinner. We were a good size party of 7 and were looking to do a shared plates style meal. When we asked if this was how their plates can be ordered we were told that their menu is fully able to satisfy us.

We visited for a weeknight dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Anise is a hidden gem. The decor is great, and the restaurant backs up to what looks like a resort! I was very impressed with the total renovation of The Village’s new pool and community area. It feels like visiting a totally different place. All that’s missing is the ocean, lol!

Anise is the perfect place to become a regular! The beautiful grounds of The Village Dallas, it’s amazing ambience, and incredible cuisine, make it easy to spend hours here! The Drey Hotel, is one of my top suggestions for a boutique hotel in Dallas, and Anise is a big part of that. From business meetings, a romantic evening, to celebrations, you won’t be disappointed with the service, food, or cocktails, whether seated at the bar, or enjoying the coziness, and view from the main dining area. Sharing is Caring! Here are some of our favorites; We start with their delicious Cheese and Charcuterie board, then dive into the Crispy Octopus, an Olive Oil Poached Salmon, and the Lamb Shanks, with a side of Charred Broccoli. So so good! To continue satisfying your senses, don’t forgot a nice bottle of Italian wine, and Japanese Whiskey, with a desert, and espresso to top off the experience! They’re closed on Sundays, and Mondays, so plan accordingly. I’m certain Anise at The Village Dallas will also become one of your favorites, and we’ll run into one another there very soon! Xoxo Lorenzo!

As big fans of Meridian and Mediterranean food, we were excited to try Anise. When we first walked in, it was empty and felt more casual than I anticipated. With time, more people showed up and that improved the feel of the ambiance when we weren’t the only diners. The decor is cute and coastal, but the food was just okay. Honestly, most of it didn’t have much flavor- especially the potatoes. They were able to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies, but the food lacked depth and flavor for the most part. I also feel like the tequila/mezcal cocktail options could be better. There were 1-2 dishes that were super good- notably the lamb’s marinade was very good. On the fence if we’ll be back, but would likely give it another try.

I love this place! Especially now that they extended their happy hour. The cocktails here are SO good. Food is delicious and I love the glassware they use here! Personally, it makes everything taste better. I definitely recommend trying their Texas Meets Manhattan drink — you’ll LOVE it! The staff here is also very friendly each time we come!

Lamb kabob was excellent. The menu is very limited and portions are small. They only have two deserts and neither is anything special.

My friend and I just went to the bar and had drinks. And they were great absolutely great. We had the Texas something?? Lol! It was delicious! The bartenders were great. One of them actually overheard us saying we were celebrating my birthday, and he brought me out a little birthday treat. I thought that was so sweet & thoughtful of him. I asked him. How did he know that it was my birthday and he said he overheard us say that it was my birthday. He was one of the best bartenders I have met and I frequent several bars lol.
